I just took a photo of the hummingbirds chasing each other through the lilac bushes.
@halifaxhops Hop, what's that silver stuff you keep mentioning that you put on manifolds and such.. Soilent Green... Slip Somethin'??
Slip Plate or Fluid Film I think or was that the lawnmower non stick stuff.
Slip Plate it is fine liquid Graphite.
Just make sure you rub it in while still damp other words right away or it is a pia.

Gotcha. Think I'm going to soak them in Evaporust first to get them cleaned up, then do a Slip plate coating. I think that'll work.

Yup see that all the time. They sell also. 70-71 is always more since they are combined. My Mopar is way cheaper. Any time you see them at 80 or under just grab them they will resell. You should see the early ones prices from the teens and 20's!
Yeah... it's loose leaf... has the Collison book... nice lay-flat metal binder
Those binders are all I try to use. They are 30-50 each in mopar. I scored a bunch one year I think at fall Carlise for 2 each. Should have bought all he had!
Think the last few I got from Marty mopar not cheap either, but now have them. Dam new binders suck bad. We used to throw away them when we got CD's for the aircraft books. Hundreds of them also with metal hinges!
So much easier finding stuff now with the part numbers rather than having to wander the interwebs and/or guess.
yes. Only thing I have found alot of the pre 70 stuff has been superseded. Thats a whole different book you will never find. I call my parts friends on them if it does not pop up right away.

With some pressure they shoot out a pretty good stream of fuel although I don't think that's how they are supposed to be used.
We were supposed to be removing paint but thats a longer story.
