I think more of what I will do with them vs how many time I will use. They are light years ahead of the old 'Taiwan tools' that the chrome flaked off. One area I have had problems is small bits. hex torx etc from set. Non hardened junk... have twisted a few in two on first use. I forget if my metric hex sockets I got recently are HF or Husky, I saw one of the small ones is twisted and I've barely used them.
Snap on. Seriously, I got the entire set and it’s worth it. I twisted several brands t40 bits trying to get the t56 apart. One snap on and it doesn’t even look like it’s ever been used. Course it was like 36 bucks for the one but but the entire set was 180

Careful Frank need to rest your back so you can work another day.
I. Can’t. Stop.
Pulled the matching wheels, i will need to widen them like i did the front wheels. Mounted one, doesnt look right, and im sure it won’t handle very well. That’s fine, just cant put them on today.

Dang @Old man ray if you want to stir the pot for fun, chime in on the current cooling thread from hell.
And what is the ideal temperature for Hades anyway?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Well not really.

What? I thought considering some of the previous comments.
It was an appropriate question.
Cooling thread from He'll?
Ideal temperature for Hades is just a tad warmer then heaven.

Cooling thread from Hell. Is that the one titled nipple problems.
Oh, I have a ton of of topic material for that thread.

Damn. That's a bundle to get a unlock. Last time I had it done here it was like $25. The tow truck driver was good and knew how to work the tools. How new of a vehicle? Many manufactures can unlock remotely through their software.
2005 F150 XL. Manual everything on this. The only remote opening would be throwing something thru the window.

I have what I'll call a "Belief System" on this for me. I don't take myself very seriously as a mechanic... so tool truck tools are for serious people. Not many things I take myself seriously on :D

Let's see, it's a full frame door so they would use a wedge between the cab and the weatherstrip to open the gap and then a inflatable bag to open it further. If it's manual locks you should be able to hook the inside door handle. I don't know if the Ford's will open when locked that way. Otherwise they would use a Slim Jim between the glass and the weatherstrip on the outside and trip the lock mechanism.

I have the same mind set. But that damn torx bolt on the t56 was in there TIGHT!! I broke and twisted all the DIY brand stuff, craftsman, husky, harbor frieght, gear wrench, Kobalt.

I finally ordered from snap on and it actually worked. Wasn’t happy about it but it’s worth it

T56?

T56 Magnum. The 6 speed manual in my dart.

The shifter rails internally aligns via a pair of T40 sized torx bolts.
Yeah... the cheapo sets tend to top out sooner size-wise.

I do keep wishing for a stubby ratchet and a set of ratcheting box-end wrenches... but I'm usually in the midst of it when thamemory flashes back... DOH

For gits and shiggles i listed the Barracuda. Hasnt been an hour and someone is interested in it . Thought i would like to get 45 for it and listed it for 55.
