Stop in for a cup of coffee

They are good engines, I run two of those in stock form
Yeah.. my plan when i got the car since it was soooo original, it was a famly driver til 78 then parked til last year was to just get the poly running and have a nice quiet easy cruiser.. that **** went out the window pretty quickly as i'm trying to find a 3.91/4.10 to go with a semi built engine :)

He's been racing it for years, spun a bearing last year and rebuilt.. i think it's a 412 inch now with trickflows, just a good solid car. Has build/dyno vids also
Would be fun to take mine to the track with some sticky tires and see what it will do just for ***** and giggles.
I'm at 470 HP so nothing supper fast just fun.
Would like to have a 68 Dart but the 73 Scamp I have I'm happy with.

What engine you running?
And a 67-69 dart is one of my dreams but finding one that isn't hacked to death or over-restored is just impossible

I'd love to put some sticky tires on mine too. According to my Draggy my 60' times range from 2.4-2.6 seconds. would love to get those down and start seeing 12's in the 1/4 mile.

Magnum 360 block stroked to 408 with Edelbrock Performer heads and roller rockers. Blue Print built it for me I ordered it from JohnnyMac.
All the 67,68 Darts I seen when trying to find one were high dollar junk that I didn't want to spend all that time and money to restore.
Scamp was in real nice shape and didn't really need to be restored and the price was affordable.Although I did put more money into it than I'll ever get out of it but what the hell it was fun.

Nice, i want to do a 360>426 when the time comes.. just doing a 318 for now with trickflows and parts i can swap over to the 426 in a year or two.. this year is to get the car mobile and work out bugs.

Good time though without sticky tires. I only been on the track once in my life and was a great memory I should do it again.

Same.. i took my '99 FRC vette to a track and i think that's the only time i ran.. had a blast.. went to the drag strip a lot with friends and to watch over the years though

Good plan ran mine with a 71 340 for about 5 years before putting in the 408. Worked out all the bugs and been trouble free after that.

Yeah.. i'm going cheap though.. no idea the milage on the 318, just a decent motor.. hoping the bearings are in good shape :) If not, the new motor will be sooner than later.. was just gonna do a 390 but got sick of people acting like you kick a puppy if you mention a 390

A little rabbit food for lunch.

That looks damn good.. i eat a salad for lunch pretty much every day, none look that good though :)
I just cheat and get mixed greens with spinach and throw on some cherry tomatoes. Blue cheese dressing today with some fresh cracked pepper. I have been sending the wife to work with salads for lunch. I fry up a chicken breast and slice it up. Got to have a little protein. Here's a "Strawberry Fields" copy of a salad from Culvers Restaurant. I should have pulled that hollow strawberry out before I took the photo. LOL

I think I paid $7,500 for my 408 and today's prices I bet are a lot higher.

Yeah... i figure i will have 5k into the bottom end.. prolly 7-9k total when done.. just for the engine.. but i'm not using the money for anything else anyway.. Just really should have gone big block.. could have built a monster stroker BB.. but that would be less interesting

I buy the premade salads at kroger, like $3 each and good to go.. cept i don't use the dressing.. they all use ranch which i find gross. Blue cheese is my favorite but hard to find a good one so i stick to Ken's northern italian
