I'm not much knowing how to build an engine but someday I'd like to try my luck.Yeah... i figure i will have 5k into the bottom end.. prolly 7-9k total when done.. just for the engine.. but i'm not using the money for anything else anyway.. Just really should have gone big block.. could have built a monster stroker BB.. but that would be less interesting
I will build my own, i just wish i could do the machining, i hate having other people do work for me... a guy on the B-body forum hooked me up with a machinist i trust though. Build is just details.. measure every little thing and make sure it's rightI'm not much knowing how to build an engine but someday I'd like to try my luck.
I have always been a Italian fan. Raspberry vinaigrette is good with berries on the salad too.I buy the premade salads at kroger, like $3 each and good to go.. cept i don't use the dressing.. they all use ranch which i find gross. Blue cheese is my favorite but hard to find a good one so i stick to Ken's northern italian
"You wan flied lice?Chicken fried rice for me today... Tai Pei makes a frozen rice that's really good and a quick lunch for work..
A good friend of mine has a 74 Duster set up like mine running around 500 HP that he races with stickys. He took me for a ride down the 1/8 mile track and wow I was impressed. About **** myself. lolMorning all. more rain again last night. Fred you might be surprised at what your car will do if it hooks up.

Love playing on the street. around here is nothing but farm fields and not to many cops or traffic to worry about. But running the track would be exciting.i would LOVE to have a drag car for weekend bracket fun.. but will never be in the cards.. need $80k for a truck.. $20k+ for a trailer... plus money to keep a car going... yeah... nope
It would be fun. A friend bought a Scamp drag car with a good running 440. Not extremely fast but dead nuts consistent. Well, he wanted to go faster so he had a 500 incher built. Cost him $20,000 and now he can't get it to hook. Oh, and he doesn't have a truck or trailer. He borrows it from another friend of mine. Duh!!!!!!!i would LOVE to have a drag car for weekend bracket fun.. but will never be in the cards.. need $80k for a truck.. $20k+ for a trailer... plus money to keep a car going... yeah... nope
That's all i'm building mine for.. stop light to stop light on the way to work I have worked 70 hours a week for 30 years without a vacation and can't afford ****.. i don't understand how people afford big boy toysLove playing on the street. around here is nothing but farm fields and not to many cops or traffic to worry about. Would like to see your 66 someday and if it's anything like your blue Dart it's a #10.Well, I stopped over to the storage garage and took the charger off the 66. I cranked a bit to fill the carb but it fired up and ran nice. I was planning on a new pair of points and adjust the valves this spring but it sounds and runs so good I might leave it alone. Check the oil top off the fluids, and air the tires, and she'll be ready for a trip up north.

Old motor. 1st pass out. No line lock or trans break.
I could red X you for that. LMAO Nope. Kind of a rat rod. Custom paint. Dead laquer over original Polyurethane.Would like to see your 66 someday and if it's anything like your blue Dart it's a #10.
A stroked big block “less interesting”?Yeah... i figure i will have 5k into the bottom end.. prolly 7-9k total when done.. just for the engine.. but i'm not using the money for anything else anyway.. The fuse was blown for the line lock and brake. 11 something for times. Hos new engine runs low 10's but if he can get it to hook he might get to the mid to low 9's. Might. That's a pretty car, i think i would have gone transbrake/converter before a new engine.. what's he run in it? timewise.. i don't think it was mentioned
Still a sweet looking ride it looks clean .I could red X you for that. LMAO Nope. Kind of a rat rod. Custom paint. Dead laquer over original Polyurethane.

Yeah.. more power is a issue sometimes.. i watched this guy build his car (on youtube) and it's amazing but he has been to the track over and over and it never makes it 100ft without issues cause it's making stupid power... i'm sure he will get it one day but kinda like WTF.. at least tone it down then work up the speed or something
ohhh sorry.. i thought you meant he didn't have them at all which seemed odd..The fuse was blown for the line lock and brake. 11 something for times. Hos new engine runs low 10's but if he can get it to hook he might get to the mid to low 9's. Might.
yeah.. the car is just amazingly well built, the guys talent is huge. it's artwork240 Z ???
