Stop in for a cup of coffee

Neighbor came home from his winter over in Florida. Gave me his 96 ford bronco. Been in his driveway all winter. A family member was supposed to take it but since changed his mind. 102 on the od. Needs brake lines, tires, and the usual rust over the rear wheels. Thinking about it. I could repaint it white with some bloody finger prints.

Well I went for a bonsai run in the 66. Dang, that thing get's with the program but it doesn't sound powerful. Must be the hi-po single exhaust and the E-4 cam. I need to have someone ride along and video it just for fun.
Yes you do.

I had a '96 Bronco 351 V8 with a custom flame paint job. I actually bought it for my wife since she fell in love with it. But I later drove it as my daily after my Daughter was born and my wife switched to the '05 Grand Caravan as her "mom mobile"...

Just trying to figure if it's worth saving. I understand the are still popular.

They are popular, but really don't bring much for price. I'd just sell it "as-is" and take whatever you can get. Fixing it will probably never bring any return on investment.

Is that a small block?

I looked on car gurus incredible the asking price for these.

Asking and getting are two different things.

In general, really good ones (not customized) are worth $5-8K. Tops is $10-12k, but it has to be really clean to get that and the sales are rare at those prices.

E-4 cam is for a 273. It's the preferred cam right now for the old Commando 273 4 bbl engines with solid lifters... It's supposed to be close to the stock cam, but slightly hotter...
After I posted this, I checked, I have the same cam! It runs good but does not sound like much. Idle wise.

273, Dual exhaust. Stock 4295s AFB, stock 273 4bbl intake. Soon will have a 1970 340 intake and a 570 CFM Holley on it. Iron manifolds.
