Stop in for a cup of coffee

Same here woke up kind of early. Hey you have any problems with valve cover leaks?

I am pretty sure I have one on the pass side. Hard to tell though. I put new wire looms on that side and it seems I have a oil leak now. Stamped covers and a cork gasket. Ever use the steel core thicker ones?

Looks like a great day here today! Have to mow the lawn it was to wet yesterday and was building up under the tractor deck.

Mine are chrome MP stamped steel. I use cork gaskets glued to the covers. Key is , not to overtighten them.

I am pretty good with that. Might have shifted under the blower fan is super tight.

Morning all. Going to a pot luck brunch. Wife family. Think I will go the easy way just stop at local bakery and pick up some pastry. Still raining. Supposed to clear later.

I cannot find cast ones low enough, these are stamped eddys and just fit. I might have to do the fan mod, really do not want to pull the heater box to do it. Lazy I guess.

Morning Ray. We've got 32 family members meeting at my Sons Restaurant for Mothers Day Meal. Finally quit raining here long enough for me to get the grass cut yesterday.

Think I was running rich? And you can see where the leak is also!

Those are the plugs that were in from the get go, since I have re jetted the carb and hotter plugs sounds so much better. Need to take it for a ride to make sure. Got to get the oil leak fixed first it goes right on the header.

I saw the lawn picks. I have a lawn guy to do mine. I trim the bushes plant the flowers. Enjoy the day with your family.

They should have more of a brownish look if burning clean.

Oh I know. Sonded like crap the 6 and 8 were not firing, I really thought it was a valve train issue.

I think when the motor is out again to do the engine compartment I will be drilling holes in the wheel well to get to the plugs.

Did that to an old 70 Mach 1 big block my nephew had back in the day. Otherwise jack up the motor on passenger side to get to them. Screw that
