Stop in for a cup of coffee

I got a 273 from a customer who's shop flooded a few years back. The pistons were stuck but I was able to spin the crank and get it out. Kind of tricky but it can be done.
I had to do that with the frozen up 383 motor that was in my '68 GTS car when I bought it. Undid like four rod caps, spun the crank a little bit, undid the other four and was able to get the crank out. Four out of the eight Pistons had to be driven out with a pipe and a sledgehammer. Lol

Youtube launches full screen for me and it worked fine
Its Facebook.

That's almost a 1/2 second at the 330' mark. I beleive, but can not prove, that is mostly in the timing.
The rest of the improvement is change of exhaust.
Would love to get some time at the track to improve my driving and do some experimenting, err, testing with faster secondary openings, shift points, etc.

Morning all, Smoke from Canada is down here now. Hope it clears out for a show tomorrow. Should be a nice early morning drive down some back roads to Florance CO.
Wife unit likes this one, it's downtown with lots of Antique stores to go through.

Up and down today.
They cut my blood thinner meds in half after day seven. I'm not sure that was a good idea.
The last two days I thing I should consider running for office. I stumble around. Loose focus, i seem to have all the major qualifications .
Other then that I'm doing great, and you.
Get the piston out yet?

Did they check anything or just say it was a 7 day cycle?

Hope to start pulling pistons this weekend

That's :bs_flag:. I'm sure they weren't cheap. I'd contact them right away and either send back or push for a big part refund. Places like that should know most of their customers want nice looking parts. Plus if they got smacked around might work now, but may not last as long...

Shocks are really just a hyd cyl with a built in release valve so any dents will affect the sealing of the fluid I would think.

Mancini are awesome and have been around forever.. they will take care of it no questions asked...

probably not if its on the outer 'sheath'. That mostly just protects the rod. But still got smacked around to do that,,, Even a slight ding on the other part is junk
Just spoke to them. They are sending out a new one first thing monday morning and will include a return label.

I have an appointment two days before it runs out. My guess is that's when I will be reevaluated.
Still have the pain behind the shoulder blade . It comes and goes. Plus the lower left leg that I trashed and tri fractured the ankle a few years back.
I have a larger clot there. Thats were they figure the piece in my lung came from.

That's nuts. Get better sir. Look forward to meeting you sometime. I need a shirt size for you also.

I am finally getting around to brewing some new beer but I doubt it will be done by MITP.

One thing I am is a realist. I guess that's why I don't take most things seriously.
I just enjoy life as it comes down the road.
Everything has an experation date.
