Well it looks like I can start the Nut Brown Ale. I need some Raspberry syrup for the Wheat Beer.

Got my exhaust finished. Tucks way better and is 3" instead of 2.5". Can't start it yet, but will soon.

Not quite sure what you have going on there... odd head. Or maybe just the camera angle
.
First one we have seen.................we have a bunch of black snakes. This is an eastern hognose.

Eastern hog-nosed snakes are known for their theatrical defensive behavior. Alarmed snakes inflate the body with air, flatten the head and neck like a cobra, and expel the air in a long hiss. They will also open the mouth wide and strike at potential predators.

What kind is that? :wtf:

Next most important question.
Do they eat mice and other vermin?

Toads are the primary food of the eastern hognose snake. This snake also feeds on frogs, salamanders and small mammals. It has large teeth in the back of its mouths to puncture inflated toads to make them easier to swallow.

Then they fill a different niche.
The black snakes will take care of the mice, rats, and their relatives.

I’ve had them here, but never saw one puff out like that. Years ago when I had a burn barrel, I Had it sitting on bricks and moved it. Was a pile of baby hognoses under it. I think that is the only kind I ever saw here besides the Eastern Black Snakes,
