Do you have car/ engine configuration in your profile? I've found stuff on there that's listed "out of stock" at the manufacturer. Plus free shipping with Prime
 
Supposed to cool off tomorrow, goal is to remove my kframe (steering box and 4 bolts.. shouldn't take long..) and hopefully power wash the engine/kframe/steering box...

Yeah.. i use the amazon AMEX for my business which gives 5% back on purchases.. so it adds up fast.. i have been using it to buy a lot of my car stuff soo far. Kinda want a torqstorm setup though :) But don't wanna give up power steering

I thought you got new heads? what's wrong with the motor now? and yeah.. i'm dreading rebuilding my trans.. i need to talk to A&A or cope to see if they will sell me the proper parts to switch to 24 spline, plus i have never done a dual pump trans...
Also... half the trans is covered in undercoating.. gonna be fun cleaning it up.
What's gonna piss me off is when i get into it and it's like new inside still... might just reseal/gasket it :)

The slanty that's in there is broken. Going to rebuild this 273 and swap.

I had help jacking up the transmission...

ahh k.. i thought you had the 273 going already :) I just remind myself it's a long term project.. so it's ok to be lazy and take my time. small bites...

Oven cleaner is my friend on undercoating, spray it on and ten of so later power wash it. Works on most undercoat. Use Easy Off not generic.

Yup, picked up a can of heavy duty easy off a few days ago.. i didn't think it would eat undercoating though, will try it :) I am done scraping undercoating from the bottom of the car finally.. i'm sooo close to having it clean :) I am tired of black hands when i touch it
 
I bought a rattle can of black satin the other day. Holy crap $8 and John Deer paint was 13 for the mower deck.

Bought it a while back just because it's a 65 block... no timeline for the swap. Then the /6 croaked and bumped up my timeline...
 
i do need to order torque wrenches and assmebly lube and ****.. i should get that done.. feeling a lazy day comin today

I sprayed it on the Cuda, took 95% off them did what i missed. Spotless. Weird some it wont remove, different formular I guess.

Yup. Last winter... got I all cleaned up. Only plus is that there's no grease or crud to deal with since I've redone the whole front end and underbody
