Seriously I bet you can 125 at a auction with 75K reserve.I'm going to list the Barracuda soon and pondering a price. I've looked at similar cars for sale and with this one being a 1 of 9 known to exist it's a crap shoot. I have a great friend who is a well versed 67-69 Barracuda expert and he said 80K. I was thinking 70-75K. I guess if I went 80K I can always come down, but you can't go up?? I don't have to sell so some low baller will never get it. Any suggestions??
I don't know the car but i'm with hops.. if it's that nice, and rare i would put it in a stupid rich guys auction and go for the stupid money... can always set a reserve and make sure you don't get screwed anyway...I'm going to list the Barracuda soon and pondering a price. It’s been bad here. Our valleys between the hills are holding it too. Looks like the Smokie Mountains during fog. Driving down the road, it’s about 1/8 mile visibility. They said the rains would push this out last night but so far nope.We have the Canadian smoke here, smells like a campfire outside.

Hate to admit this I agree with Sparkey!I’ll put it this way. For Craig’s car, I still think 125 is a steal. That thing is only going to go up in value
This ain’t smoke from wild fires, it’s steam from hell getting snowHate to admit this I agree with Sparkey!

Here is my opinion not based on experience just looking at it like a business transaction. Yes you can gross more at fancy auction, however by the time you deduct all the fees associated you are right back to a rough net of say 70-80. Now you add all the nonsense, pressure and logistics to comply with said fancy auction and you have exhausted your true resource, your time and energy. The time and energy involved to simply put it in an ad sheet for say 80 and check out the landscape and appetite for buyers is dramatically less. And net is same as asking unless you negotiate lesser value. Your car is stunning and anyone looking at it will know it’s worth and the folks involved at that level in this hobby are not your average guy. Just thinking out loud to ya.Wich auction?? I have nothing to do with that. I hardly smoke…
