Stop in for a cup of coffee

One of the teachers at my college had a '60 IIRC. The headlights looked like they were floating. Very cool design.
Maybe it wasn't Dodge but a '59 Chrysler or Imperial.

Knowing what we go thru to find parts for our mid 60's to 70s cars... Imagine trying to build one of those 50s to early 60's.
Just figure on taking a duffle bag of 100s to Hershey every year.
Ehhh depends on if you’re trying numbers or custom. There’s a LOT of custom options, few numbers/original

Went to car show. Rained. Same as last year.
Good turnout with some nice cars. Lots of older fellows had stories about fargos. One still has family farm truck.
Another asked for a card.

Still floatin' around Connecticut?
yes. So here is the story. They built the substation platform and got it to install. Come to find out they didnt install the mounting flanges right so........... Out comes the tool to turn the flange and line up the bolt holes. Well the weight of the platform is over the max output of the tool so it can't turn it. Next idea, send my boat over and we lift the weight of the platform and they use the tool. HAHAHA nope. Contract stipulates that neither my company or the chartering company can sub contract out the boat. The installation crew is a different company and contract so............ We are still in port waiting for the outcome.

Just put it together  Who cares if the the windows don't look at the portion of the beach they wanted to see

this hour drmoanin' (_)] yeah I'm still up and drinkin CR at this hour.
There is a retailer ?? miles from here called All About Fabrics. I see their ads on TV and decide we will get there last weekend and we did... only to find they were closed. They only open their doors like once per month. The 3 day opening is this weekend Thurs., Fri, Sat..
We did get there, work our way through a huge warehouse of everything upholstery related one could imagine. Have the skills to reupholster your ride with anything from diamond tuck zodiac to black vynil? Yeah they got that. I did get all the material I need to remake the cushions for my wingback gliding rocker, welp cord and all, for less than 50 bucks. Things are looking up right? I though so too until I got home. We found a package at our front door. Flat cardboard, well wrapped with ebay logo tape and addressed to my wife. What's up with that you might ask? Many years ago, I set things up where the ebay account is hers but any purchase is payed by my paypal.
If anything is coming I know what it is and what it cost. So we open this thing find a Billy Idol on vinyl LP inside. WTF?
Feck it for now. Wifes twin bro and his wife are here for their B'day weekend, willing to walk that fabric warehouse with us so yeah we're gonna drive into G'ville and hit one of those all you eat crab leg bars and stuff ourselves. We'll deal with the BI BS later.
After about 2 hours between internet and telephone with ebay and paypal, we learned of a homegrown brand fishing. Wanna try the bait? Go to ebay, put Variety Veteran in search and you'll learn what we did. Whoever they are will spend out of pocket to ship something nearly worthless from their accumulation to someone in hopes that they might see something else listed that interests them. Then they can make a coin from a true sale. I commend them for their imagination and effort. Beats hell out of the repeating scam calls from foreigners. I might just go back there and buy a little sunthin". Good night all.

Morning all. Took the littles and Mom to the airport early yesterday and sent them back to Florida. We came home and then went and played golf getting a 1pm start 93 degrees with 60% humidity...ugh it's summer. I walked and it got nothing but warmer through the afternoon. By the time we got done I was a sweaty mess.

A change of clothes and off to the pool floated cooling down with a nice drink in hand and enjoying the pool scenery. Funny I knew walking an 18 round of golf was a 1400-1500 calorie loss. I was surprised to find heat and humidity doesn't contribute to a larger loss. I'm certain though as wet as my golf clothes were there has to be some weight loss. Weekly weigh in tomorrow hopefully I've tipped the scale some more.

What in the world am I doing up? 4 or 5 hours of sleep isn't good for this old fart. Morning fellers!

Will do. Won’t be anything special though, still need to put in carpet. But no sense in that when everything else comes first. At least the seats will be in place and no chance getting damaged sitting around the shop

Shipwreck days was ok, did find 2 albums, one an Eric Clapton "At is best" a double and one that is a compilation from The Isle of Wight concert, many good bands/artists on it, a triple album.
