Stop in for a cup of coffee

Quitting time for me....Now I am off to try and get a paint match on the Dart. I want to keep the patina look, but there are some off places that need a little paint work.

When you can send us a picture of your Dart and maybe you already did but I missed it....

SOOO!!! today I got my electric smoker out and my first attempt to smoking some salmon and rubbed it down with salt, pepper and brown sugar.
Now I live in North Dakota and salmon don't spawn up stream this far so never fresh. Anyhow it was looking good but some grand kids stopped buy and got distracted and dried that poor salmon right out. :BangHead:
Now I got a pile of dusty salmon. :BangHead:
Looks like a hot dog and a whiskey night I can do a good job on burning a hot dog with bacon.

I know that pain. I was cooking steaks last week on the grill and I went inside to finish the vegetables. The damn grill caught on fire and the steaks were jerky after that. I was not a happy camper. This is the dart. I know it’s the same picture but it’s the only one I have saved on my phone. The section on the cowl I want to touch up and blend with the patina better. The cowl leaks into the driver side fresh air vent if it rains hard so at one time someone laid something across it to block the water but left a rectangular mark behind.

Patina.

Lol. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I personally gravitate to the worn look. It still has the dealer sticker on the trunk. She has character.

If you like it... then clear coat it and roll...

Gotta fix that leak though. How's the floorboards on the drivers side?

I wish mine still had the dealer sticker. But I have lots of patina. Well dead paint anyway.

The floor boards are solid along with the frame and the rest of the body. The previous owner cut out all the rust and put in new floor boards.
The leak is a definite need but my husband is telling me it’s a design flaw and not a leak so that is on my list to research and fix first along with the defrosters.

Fine car looks to be in nice shape and definitely worth fixing up. I have a truck with the patina look so yea I agree.

Also the wiper blade seals could be leaking and a pain to replace if your as old as me trying to crawl under the dash to replace them. That's a direct leak in the car and right on the floor.
