Stop in for a cup of coffee

Im checking out seat covers for the dart. It has a bench seat. I am on Classic industries now and I have bounced around to a few different sites. What are your opinions on where to purchase the covers and is one brand of seat better than another. I am looking at the Legendary Auto interiors at this point.

Legendary is the way to go. Regardless who sells them.

The blue crossed my mind, but I am not a stock style type of girl. I like a little flair which is why I was leaning towards black. I ideally would like custom seats, but that maybe a little out of my budget range.

I was not planning on factory. I like when things are a little different.
Same here.
Iv'e seen Toolmans car and it is gorgeous.
I went with putting in bucket seats in my Scamp and building a center console and very happy with it but It's a 73 Scamp and not something that is as desirable as the Dart so I did a bit of modifying.

I like the scamps. I almost went with one myself. There were bucket seats in the dart when I got it but they were out of a scion  . The seller still had the original bench seat, so I took that also and put it back in.

I will say, I am way more comfortable in the buckets in my 66. Many buy aftermarket seats or use later Mopar seats for comfort and adjustability. The ones out of 2005 Chrysler Sebring convertibles are very popular. They are 6 way power with power recline and lumbar support. Many have heat and they have integrated shoulder harnesses.

They look awesome. Ok I'm sold! I contemplated restoring it back to blue, but I was a little worried it would be too bright. Now you have me reconsidering.
My 70 Cuda 383 4spd car is B7 blue with B5 blue interior. I wasn't real crazy bout that combo when I first got the car, But the car is numbers matching so I can't change anything, or it devalues the car. I have since, seen some Mopars that are Blue on Blue, and they look great when restored. Example.. Mikes 70 Swinger....

If mine were numbers matching, I wouldn't touch a thing on it either.

I understand not wanting to modify your Cuda or Mikes Dart and I do like the blue interior.

You should call legendary almost nothing in stock they make it to order. They were 9 months out on orders when I checked
Thanks for the heads up. I would like to work on the seats over winter so it would probably be a good idea to work on ordering them then if they take that long. I did order a catalog from legendary just to see if there are other color options. I would have loved to have black seats with a houndstooth inset on the seat.

I'm real happy with the way my shop stays cool inside when it's hot outside. Today it's 93° and sunny outside. At 12:45 midday it is only 79° inside the shop. When it's really hot out like this, I leave both of the overhead insulated garage doors closed and turn on the fans. Usually keeps it at least 12° cooler in the shop than outside

I got the munchies this morning and went to town for a breakfast biscuit. On the expressway I hear a nearby rumble, then it passes by. '66 or 7 Belvedere, sounded great. Gets ahead of me and I see the 12" wide tires on the rear and through the back window I see a roll bar

Almost forgot, as he passed I saw the Hurst floor shifter and heard him catch his next gear.

Sure rub it in to the rest of use. One day I’ll get to the who cares what day it is part of my life. I still have about 20 years left
There are only a couple of us working stiffs on this thread. Saturdays for most everyone - everyday

Multi Cylinders Displacement system is what Chrystal calls it. The 5.7 hemi’s have it up until like 2010-2012 something like that
I work with variable displacement engines all the time. Unexpected self disassembly - self identifying engines. In today's world it is hard when engines want to be something else....V12 self identifies as a V10 or even V8? Maybe a V10 identifies as a V6 like the other day. My Diversity and Inclusion training says it is ok, and we need to be accepting....
