Stop in for a cup of coffee

He said last night he has been averaging 18 MPH so 88 miles will take about 5 hours. Leave at 5 am and get there at 10 before it get's real hot. The host towns roll out the red carpet for the riders.
Thats a good pace he's keeping in the heat. That's awesome!

18mph is a decent average and about what i used to do... i could only do 20-30 miles though and fall over dead.. i have a buddy that averages 19-21 on a mountain bike.. i hate him.

Only ordered a couple things from Jegs, no big item purchases. No problem with the stuff I ordered, however not a lot of love for Jegs on here from numerous people

Not yet Scott , waiting for Summit to return my money , then I will look . Jegs says they have two ...lol Don't know whether to trust Jegs. You ever deal with them ?
Jegs won't screw you.. worst is they won't ship your ****.... seems they have new owners though so i hope it's better.

Mike @fatoldguy just did a quick search for speed shops in your area. This is where I got my wheels from, a local speed shop. They have their own distributor and my guy had them in a day or two.

Just thought I would share this, you have probably already checked that route.

Yes, a little cool.
As far as A/C goes i keep it 75 or 76f.
But it was so hot yesterday, its a nice break.
I have the doors and windows open in the morning and close the house up before it gets hot so the A/C doesn't have to come on as much.

Thanks Scott . Always need good advice .

One thing we did when we got our new system installed in April is we run the fan on constant. The installer who has the same system mentioned it and it makes sense. Isn’t as hard on the compressor switching on and off several times a day. More efficient and easier on the equipment

Local farmer brought this 89 Ford over for me to put back together. Should be an easy job if I have all the nuts and bolts.

That's a good idea Scott. Think I'll try that myself. The circulating fan doesn't draw much power...

yeah I agree with the new system it is all computerized so we have an app that shows electricity used. Fan is minimal. Makes sense for the efficiency of the system and compressor. Never thought of that until he said it and he has been doing this for 30 years. Trust the experts especially when they use the same equipment in their own home
