Stop in for a cup of coffee

One thing we did when we got our new system installed in April is we run the fan on constant. The installer who has the same system mentioned it and it makes sense. Isn’t as hard on the compressor switching on and off several times a day. More efficient and easier on the equipment
I could and probably should but.................our fan is powered by a 220v. motor and it is not a capacitor start. I get a little light flicker when it all kicks in together. (220v. compressor too) I should get a inductive pick up amp meter and see how much current it draws on start up and running. Most of the new systems have a variable speed fan motor that can be run at a slow speed to keep the air moving. That's especially good in a 3 level house where the air stratifies. It's probably 10-15° hotter upstairs than in the basement. That low speed fan is also good if you have a Hepa air filter or a electrostatic air cleaner. I think I'll go turn my fan on.

I usually don't like 64-65's but this thing is cool

I wish Ed would stop by more often. @intimidator See him in the other lane in the old photo. That was back in the late 70's.

Just opened the mail. Score! A cashback check from my home and collector car insurance company. No claims again this year got me a $436 refund. My collector car insurance is $282/year so the insurance is free and I get some whiskey money to boot.

That's a score especially on a Friday! Hello Weekend!

So about 90 min left for me. The talks of Bonneville got me thinking. For curiosity, I ordered an SCTA rule book.
