you don’t assume what’s in any container regardless of color. You gotta smell or look at it. He did neither. Thing was full of 5 gallons of gas not the kerosene he expected…

Kid told my buddy at work that he put gasoline in the skid-steer instead of diesel.
He's not sure if he's pulling his leg but doesn't think so.
I said open the fuel cap and smell it. If there's gas in it you'll know right away. He looks at me all serious and says he's not sure he can smell the difference. Oh boy!
