Wow that's nice Mike and would like to see your house someday.
And drink all your booze and spoil the cat.
Welcome anytime. I just bought another bottle today. (shame on me) Up to 358 now.

Home from work and a great work day I got to tear apart cars, beat on them with a hammer grind on them, break plastic parts, pull them back straight, change air bags and throw busted bent and mutilated parts all over the shop.
Made a mess out of my tool box with tools scattered under cars, on top of cars and only lost 1 10 MM socket today.

Mom had weird stuff that worked. Poison ivy use hydrogen peroxide, dries the oil up from it and keeps it from spreading. Just stuff. You were a bad kid one day you got asparagus, etc.
Boil water, dump it on poison ivy, it’ll kill it within minutes, down the root

I'm not sure how you do that. I can't get one bottle to not be empty after 5 days
You have to get ahead of the consumption. I always finished a bottle before buying another. I took a $500 Christmas gift and bought a lot of lower dollar bottles $20-30 get's you a instant collection. As you collect the chase for better juice goes up to higher dollar offerings. And the rest is history. I tell my wife, I don't have a drinking problem, I have a collecting problem. I need to slow down, stop and back up soon but there is always another great offering to be had. It's a illness! Like cars and parts.  :mob:

That’s a gorgeous house.
It is very enjoyable and a pain too. It's a place I have a hard time leaving. I really like to stay here. Especially when it's cold! No reason to leave except for groceries! LOL

I suppose my military lifestyle causes me to have a "stuff" aversion. My brother calls me a Spartan... but he has 5 engine blocks in his garage.

At least my "collection" can be stored in a room in the basement. Don't look in my garage or rented storage. I am a keeper. I need to change my ways and start tossing stuff that I haven't used for a decade. :BangHead: :BangHead:

So. A buddy wants to take his 64 Sport Fury to the open drag races ones of the Fridays in Sept. My other friend is in with his altered wheelbase Dart. I may take the Demon. I wanted the better converter and the 3.91s back in first, but this may be better...run it as how I like it most of the year for cruising. Hmmmm

So back in the fall of 2018, my family and I took a late summer vacation to Spring Hill and Pine island, the Weeki Wachee area. Anyway, one of our last days there, I stopped at the dollar general to get some cheap condiments to go with the burgers we was grilling out. At the check was this early 20s something lady with what looked to be at the time a 2-3 year old Girl. She was trying to buy food with her eBt card and apparently that system was down, she then tried paying with a debit card and that declined. Lady at the register was telling her she didn’t have enough money on it, her total order was about 25 bucks. She started to try to put things back and eventually got all the way down to the little bottle of chocolate milk the poor little girl had clutched her hands. While all this was going on, I was several people back in line and barely aware of the total or what was going on. So I walked up and started listening in, when the mom tried to take the chocolate milk from the little girl, it hit me. At this point, I made a decision I would make 1000000 times over, I stepped in, paid for her entire order and even tossed in some extra for an entire gallon of chocolate milk. The young mom cried and cried , some old lady walked up, gave me a hug and then calmed the young lady down.

Anyway, she thanked me profusely and we went out separate ways. Haven’t thought about it since.

Well this evening, I saw that area has been flooded badly by the hurricane and this memory came rushing back and I can’t help but wonder what ever came of that thing lady and her little one. I hope they’re okay and doing well
