Kind of like the coil pack on my wife’s car last week. To change ONE coil pack, the dealer wanted 843 bucks.

The flux core drops to 20 amps at 17V. .030 flux wire

On the hemi, yeah. It was two 10 mm bolts and a weather tight plug.

had to do 2 coils on a kia something... couldn't ask for a nicer job.. $90 for 2 coils and they are right on the plugs.. took like 10 mins, dealer was like 400 to do that

Wow, glad we can do the easy ones, hope ours continues to be good, 81 thousand on wife's Houndi sport, 134. Thousand on my z71

Flux core is just a different way to weld. It can work...

Millermatic 250 here and have no issues with sheet metal. @dukeboy440 I wonder if your reluctor was out of whack.

Full skins. But not like factory. Which took painstaking time to get aligned perfectly

I bet it wasn't easy and guessing you had to weld them up solid and not just tack them on and leave a long spot of unwelded area?
