Yeah, i used to make pig candy a bit.... it's awesome when it's done right.. I miss using my smoker :(

No more smoker? I just bake it in the oven for 10 min or so. Pepper it and sprinkle on some brown sugar.

Naw.. smoker has been in a corner of the garage for like 5 years now (Weber 28" bullet) i just lost the fun of doing it.. everytime i would smoke stuff i would not want to eat it when done and give most away :) I don't eat much anymore anyway...
 
I was on my way to Kirtland AFB to make a delivery of Hydrogen. I was at the gate when the second plane hit. After about 4 hours of watching it unfold in the guard shack. they sent me back home.

I watched it begin on NBCs Today Show (Matt & Katie & Al). Although I pretty much knew dad would be in his bedroom on the treadmill I called and mocked his voice back at him as always... "What are you doin'?", "Go sit down in front of Today Show." We were on hardline and kept it for quite a while.
Where were you when the world stopped turning? will always be the hot topic on this day. I crying and shaking all over to the point I can hardly type now so... Later bye.
 
There's a little hot rod with a 4 SALE sign on it nearby. Really has got my attention. Mid 50s Willys pickup, SBC with 2 4bbl, open headers, and no fenders front or rear, looks like it may be on a non-willys chassis. Granbrats would never go for it since it's not a wagon :lol:
 
I froze some corn this morning. Saw this on Facebook and I thought I would give it a try.

Hope it holds up... i found too many veggies turn to mush in the freezer
I'm not a big fan of on the cob. It seems to taste like the cob when you cook it. There is one more patch yet to go and it will be done for the season. I might cut some off the cob next time. THat seems to work the best.
 
Lunch. I have a friend since 2nd Grade. 3rd Generation Family Italian Market. I went to Lowes then picked up this. Italian hoagie . Sweet peppers, oil and vinegar. *** sharp Provolone

I'm not a big fan of on the cob. It seems to taste like the cob when you cook it. There is one more patch yet to go and it will be done for the season. I might cut some off the cob next time. THat seems to work the best.
Not a fan?! Ohh man.. boiled corn on the cob is one of my favorite things although i only eat it like once a year when the farmers markets get going... too much sugar in it :(

No, I like on the cob best. Not a fan of freezing it on the cob.

I nuke it with the stalk on. 2 minutes an ear. Then 1 minute to cool. Stalk pulls right off.

ohhh got it :) yeah some friends own a farm 1 mile from me and i will hit it in late summer for fresh corn as a treat with A LOT of butter and some salt.. mmmm
