Stop in for a cup of coffee

I froze some corn this morning. Saw this on Facebook and I thought I would give it a try.

Generally the faster you freeze things, the better they are when thawed. Thats how it's done commercially. Not sure if they still use the terms... IQF - Individually quick frozen. If anything, I would think the husk would do the opposite. But you never know till you try it. We have cut cobs in half to thirds, parboiled and frozen with decent results. Usually cut it off though.

Kinda like a new handgun. The new one just needs a little more break-in.
At the range my golf club has a club fitting bay with a high-tech launch monitor.
They have a large selections of driver shafts for my type driver that can be switched out with the turn of a screw.
I'm going out sometime this week and spend some time on the monitor. Easy fix.
I like the old driver played it for years. The new driver is an upgrade gives me 20 more yards a two club second shot difference which probably means nothing to most haha!! For you it would be like shooting from the seven-yard line instead of the 25.
Makes sense, I hate transitioning to new equipment. Once I get over the frustration hump and deep desire to toss the new equipment I do ok. But the hump is hard to get over! I just have to make the decision in my head I am going to do it.

Speaking of corn.

Ugggg. Compiling and uploading my 2022 tax information for my tax accountant. Total. PIA. Also checking out an old Mercedes-Benz s320 for parts that it needs. Other than that, not much happening here today. Did I mention I hate Taxes? :mob:

So, I am told it is likely the mechanical diode in the transmission. Ford only used it for 1-2 years before they went back to a sprag. So, $4000 for R&R, includes trans remove, rebuild with shift kit, billet converter, billet input shaft, fluid, etc and replace. 1 yr warranty and about 2 weeks out. Dammit

On my Dodge diesel I was having shifting issues. Shop wanted to do a bunch of work on it $$$... Called another local shop... turned out the guy was retired and the shop had been closed for a while.. but he gave me some advice... he said it was electrical. I think $20 for a new throttle positioning sensor fixed the problem.

Amen, congratulations

Today was a think how I'll modify Woolfe's front Valance on his Valiant. Got a plan all figured out and should be an easy fabrication just have to get with the boss and get an approval.

I have it at a different time shop to use the scan machine on it and see if something else first. The transmission shop is the one this guy uses anyway so all good there. Discussing online diesel forums, they all say the same thing though.

Evening. Sold enough stuff today that I ordered my roller kit, 8-10 weeks for the custom grind but it’s not like i needed it today. Oh and my clutch, flywheel, wiring harness

Sadly, the 48, my baby 331 hemi and my flat tappet stuff all gone today. But I will now have everything to drive the dart possibly by Christmas if it all comes in time
