The Jets play 17 regular season games so that breaks down to 2.2 million per game payday.
They showed him in a walking boot hooping on and off the cart. I don't think it isn't too bad.

Right guaranteed money contracts have so many caveats included.
An NFL team management will always write something into a contract like to protect them also when dishing out the big bucks.

ESPN reporting this morning it’s his Achilles and they are getting a confirmation MRI today. If it is, he’ll be done for season

Injuries have been on the rise since the new CBA was done a few years back that further reduced off season conditioning programs that teams could require players to do. Soft tissue injuries being the biggest increase
