Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
The wife just got home from work. She will grab a slice of pizza and we will settle into the family room and complain there is nothing on TV. We will settle on ''Everybody Loves Raymond" and we will chuckle a lot until I fall asleep in my chair. Exciting huh?

Pizza on the grill

While I had big plans of doing some 22 shooting with grandson Tonight. I was overruled by a dog and a soccer ball. I had forgotten that I had taught Hemi how to play soccer years ago with a Kong. Grandson exclaimed “she picked it up“ and that is illegal! Thinking I was being witty, I explained to him Hemi could not read the rule book. As only a little person can, he looked me in the eye and asked “why not”? Game set match, I was done!

Falling asleep watching TV is a blessing for me as that's my best sleep the whole night.

Great looking grandson John and Hemi plays by her own rules.
Damn surprised Hemi got that in her mouth without popping it.

I am very convinced that the level of calm and enjoyment listening to baseball on the radio is a throwback to my childhood. Love sitting and listening to a game being called. Really doesn't matter which team

I always loved hearing Harry Kalas announce a baseball game. It was soothing and so many good memories associated with that.

My dog had learned to catch a frisbee, although she often needed some motivation to put in high effort.
Left over salmon sometimes would provide that motivation for a few catches.

Anyway, at my archeaology field school three or four of us were throwing a frissbe - a good one - and one guy just never could catch it when it was thrown to him. After this happened enough times Chelsea I guess got disgusted and decided she would fix that problem. jumped up, grabbed it mid air and walked away with it.

Grand ole oprey for me. Although to your point we spent many an afternoon listening to baseball on radio. My great grandfather was a Cubs fan. Not being an actual baseball fan no idea what years it was but the names I remember are Santos, Joe Pepitone (sp?) and something with a K?
just remembered, that would have bugged me all night, kessinger!

Oh dear. Andy's cat is sick and having seizures. The cat has had diabetes and was on daily insulin injections for a long while. Andy knows it's time to put him down and he's trying to find a vet to do it. I suggested tomorrow morning if the cat survives the night. I offered to take him in if Andy can find a vet to do it. Things like this always happen on Friday at 10 pm. Hard to let those pets go. Been there.

It sounds like they are on their way to the vet's office.

It's time. The cat is 13 and has ongoing health issues. It has been having seizures today with paralysis.
I have a 19 year old going to the vet today. MO is a tuff old boy. He was born in my Cuda along with his sister Par. I brought them, and their mom home. he is the only one still kickin.

Morning hey it's actually Saturday!!
We had rain late afternoon here and light rain off and all overnight made some great sleeping.
Yesterday with an event at our course we went to a neighboring town who use to have a top rated golf course...use too.
It was sad to see the condition it was in and realized how spoiled we are getting to play where we play.
Nothing new today probably play golf this morning and come home and do something around the house. I have a two page "fall to do list".
Coffee is on help yourself!! I even put out some tea for John.
