Nice day here...Gonna go ride the Shovel Head around the neighborhood. Ordered new tires yesterday. Will be here in a few days. Then get it registered so I can ride further out, for 30 days before temp tag expires. Later today , going to visit my Ex brother in law. We hunted a lot together in the past. Deer, Turkey, Geese. Have'nt seen him in bout 5 years. He lost his wife (My Ex's Sister) last Dec. due to a heart attack. She was only 62. Just all of a sudden thing. Crazy. We'll drink a few beers together and tell old hunting lies...Should be Fun....
 
Valve covers showed up... not as bad as i expected except marks all over them (i only pulled one out) :( Gonna send back and have them send another set i think.

Meh.. prolly keep em and hit the spots with some 1500 to see if i can clean em up.. not that big of a thing, just annoying.. at least they were cheap
 
My buddy Doug called me last night and woke me up at 12 to give me some ****... We were on the phone for 45 minutes when I should have been getting some sleep...

So I texted him at 4 AM... He hates when I text him in middle of the night...

Paybacks are a *****.... :)

I set my phone on silent except for just a few peoples messages to come through.

Mopar Tim and I have 6 spaces in a row. Tim has 4 and I have two. I only use one if you need space to put your parts.

I have an alarm set for 1:20 so I can check for reservations for rides... I have seen that many of the reservations post around that time for the drivers to grab up...

The reservation rides pay more than the standard ones... Most of them go to one of the airports here...

I see alot of roads around here that say "Old Route 66"... I can't believe that all of them are/were Route 66...

It's kinda like back in the mid 80's when there were 4 times as many Chevelle SS's registered than Chevy ever made....
 
Ok everyone, I gotta go...

I'm all cleaned up so I can go get a haircut at Phil's Barber...

I picked up a Chicago Bears schedule for him when I stopped at the bar for lunch the other day for a hamburger... He's a Bears fan and tracks the games on a board in his shop...

I will be due for my next haircut during the holidays between Thanksgiving and New Years when he puts out a mini bar for the customers to have a holiday drink while waiting or getting their haircut... I like to go there then to get my holiday toddy while getting my haircut...

I bought my gf a cookbook named "Cheap and easy vegetarian cooking"...

Which is perfect for her, because not only is she a vegetarian....
 
Anyone here know if rear axels from a 64.a body 7 1/4
Will work in a 67 to 69 a body 7 1/4
