Stop in for a cup of coffee

Neighbor stopped by yesterday, told me a pretty cool story. He was releasing 10 pheasants on a friends property. On the way to his friends house he saw the one lone resident Elk we have on the island so he stopped to video record it. When he got to his friends he told him of the encounter, guess that elk stops by daily for a drink of water. Anyhoo, because pheasant will fly a mile if you release them in the open they headed up a trail with the birds. Appearing on the trail about 50 feet away was that Elk, it was a face off with my friend and his buddy getting behind some small alder trees.

We had a press kit when I worked at the cold storage. Worked great Had die sets for most of the sizes we ran into, Really easy to make a hose. Was especially good for the long ones on a triple mast. I put one end on and ran it through. Once I had it in place I could see how much stretch before I cut it and put the end on. No sloppy fit that way.

I did get their approval on a mid-50s Willys wagon on CL up in the Bay Area. Unfortunately it only has half of the cylinders required for my approval :lol:
 
We are to get some rain tonight. Severe drought, everything is drying up. You can almost wade across the Mississippi
 
We had a little rain overnight. Slow morning start today. Coffee and PJs yet. Need to get moving soon
 
Cool morning here, not getting out of the 70s. Need to go out and do some horse things then I can play with cars.
 
Not much here. I went out to the range for a little practice Cheryl and I have a veteran's golf tournament tomorrow.
This afternoon GD has her last fall softball game. It's a double hitter so I'll be taking my large glass with a hidden adult beverage.
Tonight, Kansas State plays at 7pm.

Well, did the service on buddys truck,and tipped the left front wheel out about 3 degrees, and looks like it isnt quite enough yet.
In a couole weeks i will drag out the alignment machine and see what it really needs.
Almost time to head out. Going to Kims Royal performance gala this evening. She may be a candidate for another cruise.
