Well I just got done prepping my weeks worth of chow for when Jodi is gone. As the primary cook around here in essence I get a week off! When she is not here I live/eat pretty Spartan. But hats off once again to Eric, when we built the house I was determined to have the gnarliest garbage disposal I could. Who better to guide me than a Marine motor guru with 19 Dynos at his disposal. I put a Marine Merc 60HP under the sink! Of course it is equally as effective on silverware as it is on veggie drops! Thanks for the guidance @71GSSDemon !

Another hump day is here, lets make the best of it, as we wait for a bunch of rain to fall up and down the great Mississippi, Salt water invasion down south, we have ports shut down here because of the lack of rain.. cold front heading our way from the north west. Ok, I am empty

your welcome John. anytime. I am disappointed that you only went with 60hp though. You could have done better than that!

Anxiously awaiting rain, grass seed in hand!

Ah .... more grass to mowe or is this a seed to get it back from all the construction going on, you may want to wait till next year if your seed needs 67 degree nights and 72 degree days. Good morning

Construction repair. I got 1/2 of a fifty pound sack left. Figured I would toss it and if I only get 20% emergence that is still a win prior to Winter!

I believe rye grass seed will be good to sow in and then seed the area the same day with your choice of grass seed, rye grass germinate and grows fast, like over night .lol. the your good seed will not get washed away cuzz

Family members have started going with hydroseed post- construction. Not sure what the cost is but the coverage seems to be very good.

My concern would be can the truck that puts it on can find his place

So our new KitchenAid whirlpool dishwasher lasted almost 4 years :wtf: :BangHead:

The touchpad has a mind of its own works, doesn't work etc. Touch panel can be the problem or the control board. There is a limited warranty and they would send a tech to diagnose, then if covered parts may be free.

$139 diagnosis fee. This does not include any labor and I am sure due to where I live they would also charge me a service call fee. So I think minimum $ 225 and the BS of waiting around for some clown and having to open my gate, blah blah blah...............

So I ordered a new control board and a new touch panel and control panel.............$525

Ahh, what is that ? Must be a military coordinate. I sometimes feel dumb because of my lack of experience, but I bet its funny

The number of digits in a grid coordinate off of a map increases the accuracy of the location. 10 digits is 5 Easting and 5 Northing... for a total of 10.

Military uses a Military Grid Reference System that divides things into smaller and smaller boxes in order to increase accuracy.

Your just at or slightly over half of what replacement cost would be I guess... Tech sucks. My place in PA still had all the original appliances from 1978 ... and they worked like a champ. Even the trash compactor

Thank you, thats awesome, and now I am laughing at your comment.
Thanks for helping me understand

Our old Kitchen Aid is still going. I hope that didn't jinx it. We moved in 30 years ago and it was far from new then. The kitchen was remodeled in 84. Just sayin'. I wish they still made racks for the old girl. They are the metal rods coated with plastic/rubber stuff. If the coating get's a split, the inside starts to rust. It needs replaced.

Found an overland rack on FBM I'm going to check out. I want to mount a cargo hard-box on it. The dog occupies the entire back seat so extra baggage is a challenge. She strokes out if put anything on the back seat as it obstructs window snout access...

Yup, that is my thoughts. They don't make anything to last..............
