I looked at another dart today.
another 71 dart swinger.
probably wont buy it because it wasn't very exciting and I didn't get a happy "rainy" feeling about it, if anything I kinda want the front end sheetmetal but it's too nice to part out.
I had a thought when I was looking at it tho. where in the world are people hiding all the 4 door darts and valiants.
I really think they made a gazillion more 2 doors than more doors. All I ever find is 2 doors.
The popmobile and there is a really sweet red 73 4 door in the photo garage section, so we know they exist but I think the smurfs must be hiding them.
I just wept a small but heartfelt tear. That program pissed me off from the word go...Crushed under the clunkers for cash program.
Wow! you're really good at this!
Party horns. I'll try to remember that. They are generally called "Party horns". In the UK they are called "Blow ticklers"
I mouse hovered over the emoticon and saw where you found it. Great!Copy/Paste
That's what I have! What are your plans for it?That one is marked for the youngest kid's 68 Valiant. It's a .030" over 360...

I sure did! Even commented on it. I think you're very good at this and I think the car looks like it's on speed.Anders, did you see the pic I did for you?
Why not higher in comp?Get compression near 9.2/9.3, medium street cam, LD340, 340 exhaust manifolds, and Holley 600 vac secondary with electric choke...
Just a street cruiser for the kid and he can take it to the strip once in a while. We're 30 minutes from Route 66 race track...
If we blow up an engine, I have a few spares that we can build to replace....
Why not higher in comp?
So that's the limit for your gas? Is that 91 octane?
We get 95 or - in fact - 98 unleaded over here. Not sure how much ethanol it has but I think it's 10%. Could be 20%. I've been told that the limit in static compression therefore is 10:1.

Thank you very much!
I don't think that's the ones I will go for. And I'm thinking about setting the grille and headlights an inch or so into the front and darkening it all out. Not fully blacken out, just not so chromey. Besides, my trim is nowhere near the state of the car in our pic.
To think that my car will some day shine like that and be ... complete.
I like her 63 valiant that she has for sale.Hey Rani, did you see that there is another female member in the welcome forum from Colorado...
She has some cool Mopars....
Hello I'm a gal with MOPARS
I'm not sure what you did there. It looks stock to me.
Sharpie works good, so does Nail polish! Good job.I just finished repainting the worn off lettering on my heater controls. I used a silver Sharpie to make them readable again.

Thanks! I almost used white nail polish, but I wasn't sure I could keep from going past the edges with the brush so I opted for the sharpie.Sharpie works good, so does Nail polish! Good job.
