Stop in for a cup of coffee

I think a poly with a duel quad serup in a rat rod would be cool...
That is originally what I had in mind for this poly. But I need to purge to make room for something I’m trying desperately to bring home. It’s a bucket list item and the wife actually gave the go ahead to it out question

Dual quads are cool looking but they sure suck (the gas) on a small cube engine. THe intakes aren't tall enough and designed properly for progressive linkage like say a street tunnel ram. THey either run off of 4 barrels or 8.
That’s in the linkage and there’s companies out there that have resolved the progressive linkage issues

Got my honey doo list done for the day  And even took out the garbage.
Spun the to do spinner this morning to figure out what I do today and lookie!!!

Drinking beer all day is hard work.

Today overall was a good day. We left this morning at 4:30 to road trip for the headlight reflectors and lenses. It was a 4 1/2 hour trip one way out to Cochranton PA. The seller did not want to ship them and apparently an original part is hard to locate. So off we went. The guy was very friendly. He was selling off the original 36 parts to make a street rod and my husband is trying to restore his dads to as original as possible. So a win for us.
We decided to see what was one the way home to stop and visit so we could stretch our legs. We stumbled across a motorcycle barn museum in Bloomsburg Pa. I had no idea it was ever there. You could easily spend all day there. I took pictures and will add them shortly. I thought of you @MOPARMITCH. Lots of Harleys!
Here’s the reflectors

Sounds like a long day but an interesting one

Do you folks use tap water for your coffee or filtered? I have a Brita filter pitcher in the frig that I usually use. Today I didn't. May be that's why my coffee tastes like butt this morning. :BangHead:
We have well water here, fairly deep well. Have friends that bring jugs out here and fill them.

Before I left for church this morning, I was showing Wife how we cook a roast in the crock pot. Cooked for 8 hours today. I think it turned out pretty good.

There was a pumping unit right next to K Mart

Not sure which oil company had it, but they decorated it to look like a giant bug with antennae and a face  Pumped that way for years and years
worked on those for a couple of years. Should be a plaque around it someplace that has owners name on it.

Got gas tank out of beetle. Fuel line is plugged solid. Not looking forward to replacing it. No choice i think. Needs New gas tank, too much work to clean and seal. For $250 think i will call owner and let him know. 20 minutes to put new one in.
