Yep. A 7 main block. Super strong with a long rod. Lot's of torque. They were a good truck engine.From what I recall those 292s had torque for days but not very fuel efficient
Thats actually a decent price for both if they work.
I'll bet they review their allowing off duty pilots to ride in the jump seat.
And gas at $4.00 a gallon is a good price too lol!

Mithc sold a tach think last yearf for $800 I think.
I think it was the second boat that I ever owned. Was a 19 ft aristocraft with the sliding hardtop. Look like a James Bond boat. Originally had a 250 CID GM engine. But I replaced it with a 292 cubic inch GM engine. That thing would fly.From what I recall those 292s had torque for days but not very fuel efficient

Sold one at Carlisle 2 years ago for $900. Had the base plate and the sending unit with it. Was going to put it in my 68 GTS, but never did.....
think 73 360 without hitting the books, definately LA To me its one I would curve for something else.

Looks like SoCal is in for it's first Autumn freezes in the next few days. San Gabriel Mtns gonna get a little chilly next week. Not gonna make the snow covering for The World Finals at Pomona though. Have to wait for the Winters

Dirty NHRA guys changed the schedule for next year. Gators are 1st @ 3/7 and Winters come @ 3/21
