Just came across this pic. Never heard of a nose cone. Anybody?
Oh yes, But only on a few select early 68 GTS cars. I had one, I was going to put on the GTS I restored, but didn't, and then sold the car to a friend of mine. The one I had was not metal like the originals. Mine was a heavy polypropelene? ... Sold it at Carlisle for BIG money two years ago...

This famous one in South Philadelphia just got torn down (developer is building somehting big of course)

Pretty sure I was there with the Mrs once. She had reletives nearby and knew the place from when she was a kid.
Actually Round the Clock diner in York, not Easton
Local to me. Met up with @halifaxhops and @MOPARMITCH there 'once upon a time'... They have a second one in East York too.
Morning!
Another mild morning, and sunny again. Will be fairly warm for november too.
Buddy’s truck needs axle shaft, and transfer case is acting up.
Guessing that your 'mild' is cold to most of us. Around 40F and quite frosty here.
Morning everyone. Spent most of the beautiful day working the leaves.
My leaves are pretty much done. Some down back I don't really care about. Still planning to do a final full cut by the end of the week. Maybe do some of that today.

Otherwise, nothing planed today. Good Morning.

Morning folks! Coffee is done. I slept in a little this morning. Time to wake up.

Looks like light rain here the next few days. Looks like inside projects for me.

You most likely needed the extra rest, hope its going to be as beuityful of a day there like I have on its way.

Rain moving in Monday all day long, today I need to move my 66 back in the shop, preparing for a Thanksgiving lunch here for family, then supper for a couple old friends, one has no family and the other has good taist in bourbon and enjoys shooting pool.

And I see the S word in there for next week. I brought both snowblowers up to the garage from the shed. Will check out and start them next weekend.

Do you know what you had to order to get it?
Wayne, You can't just order one. They have been discontinued by Mopar for many years now. All you can do is keep searching different sites and hope to see one. They are " and I hate to use the word Rare " but that is pretty much the case. I saw a pristine NOS one sell for 2K a few years ago, and some nice used originals for 1500....Hope you don't want one too bad......

Arggg! Now why would you think it would be ok to park directly across from my driveway. We have 2 vehicles backing out on the street from the driveway and one from the alley just a few feet to the left.

Thats one ruff looking ride, look closely and make sure no one is in it or worse, a body in it

Well Mike...Just take a look at the condition of the body on that car. Explains a lot......

 It has been clobbered before. I don't want one of us to back into it and buy him a new car because of his stupidity. I might leave him a note.

Yep, Start em before you need em. I don't have a generator. We rarely lose power. Actually did forseveral hours just last week though. Even if we do, have the wood stove for heat. And has never been off long enough to thaw the freezer. Only other issue is no water pump. Just keep some bottled on hand for drinking and a couple 5 gallon buckets to flush, etc.

I was hoping to find out how you got one originally. Like a GTS option with a side stripe package or what.
I believe it was hit or miss. Not sure if it could be an ordered option or not....Like I said, only some of the early 68 cars had them....
