Yep, 2nd one this year.


Still think they’d been money ahead to just bring the Saturn 5 design out of retirement . That thing was bullet proof and more than capable of reaching their current goals.

Probably too late but I buy gold, silver and some coins. I can tell you what a refiner would pay and you can not get screwed from there. Anyhow, good luck!
 
Makes me glad I'm on the wrong side of the launch trajectories that Vandenberg launches use :lol: Space X has been busy littering the atmosphere with their Starlinks for a couple years now :lol: They're amazing to watch, but glad I not down range :lol:.
 
You know, today wasn’t a total loss. I got to spend the entire day with my son on his first true deer hunt. He’s taking the miss way better than me. Wants to go again tomorrow. Says we can keep going until we get the thing.

I passed a field the other day that had just been harvested in the previous day or 2. There must have been 50 wild Turkey out there munching on the remains of the plant life :lol:
 
Heavy frost today, no mosquitoes and the bees are letting me harvest the rest of the apples. All is good!

Got a new member of the family, Meet Ajax. Bout 5 weeks old, found him in a parking lot, abandoned. Had a few fleas but we dealt with that. I"m blaming any typos on him!

I’ve not missed a target or a deer in over 20 years. Not only did I miss but I missed all 5 shots. So I’m checking my scope to make sure I didn’t bump it and destroy the zero or I just plain missed.

Pretty pissed at myself right now. Couldn’t have asked for a better shot on what would have been the biggest buck I’ve had in my sights. Guess my dry spell stretches to 11 years…

On one cruise there was a self serve ice cream dispenser. Always a lineup, kids were going apeshit over it. Two days later it was out of service.

Cant wait for Janurary, free cruise. And 2 weeks after that, another that we paid for 3 years ago…
 
Well, since the name of this thread is "Stop in for a cup of coffee", here is a coffee related comment. My wife and I were getting a little tired of the Kona Blend coffee we have been drinking for the last 3 or 4 years. So we were at the grocery store the other day looking at coffee, and I saw 8 O'clock whole bean coffee. I worked my way through college at an A&P grocery store, and 8 O'clock coffee was an A&P brand. Well, we bought a bag, and we really liked it! And it was very reasonably priced.
 
Morning. Waking my brain up then heading back out into the woods for a one in a million chance the sucker comes back.
