We always use dark meat in our jambalaya, typically Squirrel. We Try and keep a couple three in the freezer year round. We have a big crock pot so three is perfect. I cut them in half right behind front shoulders so they stay submerged. Jambalaya is one of my all time favorites! Remember, if you ain’t sweating you ain’t eating!Okay .. The Jambalaya is onda fire. Remind me at 13:45 PST to turn down the heat. 1/2 beer for the crack pot, 1/2 beer for da cook.
That's what the beer is for, to scrub the spicy sticky bits out of the skillet I saute the veggies in. Lotsa my Blackening Spice on those veggies. Far as meat goes it's usually whatever I have leftover from the recent BBQ. This time Tri Tip and multiple varieties of sausages. It already smells good.We always use dark meat in our jambalaya, typically Squirrel. We Try and keep a couple three in the freezer year round. We have a big crock pot so three is perfect. I personally think Michigan is going to highlight the flaw in the playoff protocol tonight. Michigan, by a bunch.
The original Sam n Ella’s is in fact a pizza joint down by the University in Tahlequah Ok. Which is the end of the Trail of Tears and seat of the five tribes. They have expanded and there are several now I think. There's a restaurant in Pryor OK named Sam an Ella's Chicken... But it's a pizza joint! Catchy gimmick name but a really good pizza..
