Stop in for a cup of coffee

I have to say I am impressed with State Farm (other parties insurance) taking care of the accident so quickly. It happened on Monday the 15th. The investigation is complete, their driver was found at fault and we are not liable for any charges. The body shop will complete the estimate and do all the work to fix the truck. We also got a rental for the entire time the truck is in the shop and that is paid for. I had to call a couple of times to get an equal vehicle to what we have so that was taken care of as well. Hopefully, due to the current work in front of us, the truck should be done by the middle of March.

I went and signed the paperwork for the rental yesterday and left it there need to pick it up on Saturday when my wife is off.

Here is the rental 2023 F150 4x4, pretty nice truck.

I am getting the run around from State Farm right now...

One of their insured rear ended me on Dec 9th and they are stalling saying that his 'possibly' insurance lapsed... They are trying to say that it expired on Dec 7th, he hit me on the night olf Dec 9th, and he paid it on Dec 10th... "But they are doing an investigation to see if he was insured"... :wtf:

How long does it take to look up on the computer and see when it expired and when it was paid??? :mad: :wtf:
 
Hello everyone...

Just a quick stop in...

I've been busy and this cold is really putting up a fight... Almost went to the hospital Monday, but felt a little better on Tuesday... Then Wednesday it got worse again where I was considering the hospital, and not much different yesterday... I get periods where it gets difficult to breathe, even sitting in my car not exerting I still get periods where I am trying to catch my breath...

I stayed in last night and tried to get some rest... I'll have to see if it helped or not today... I have some running around to do this morning and this afternoon, so I have to get through that...

Than another commitment tomorrow morning...

I can't do that, I have a ride scheduled on Thursday to pick up a couple from the airport... I'm dropping them off this morning... I can't afford to be quarantined for a week...

3 or 4 days, maybe...
 
Check out this snowman... I thought it was real unique... It's in a neighborhood near Orland Square Mall...

It's a guy sitting down with one leg straight and one knee up, leaning on one hand... It's a little hard to see the leg that's straight because some wind blew some loose snow and it's a little covered...

I'm going to post it in my snowman thread later when I get more time, but I thought I would give you all in the coffee crew the first look...

I'm just halfway through the antibiotics my doc prescribed me a while back... I want to give them a chance to kick in... I'm taking them every other day, I have to take one today...
