Stop in for a cup of coffee

If it is influenza the antibiotics do not work. I was given Tamiflu and a cough suppressant.

Wasn't my choice. Dr. was pretty adamant

If I don't know or get tested, then they can't tell me what to do... (Ignorance is bliss here in this situation)...

I'm trying to fight this myself before going to the hospital... I don't want to go in and they tell me it's not that serious and send me home...

You have to wait hours in the ER waiting room to get seen one of the ER rooms... (that usually takes 2-3 hours)... Then you sit in one of the ER rooms for hours before they finally admit you to a real hospital room... (that usually takes 4 - 6 hours or more)...

By the time you get in a hospital room, the food service is closed for the day and you have been starving for about 8 or more hours... (I now go to a local submarine shop and pick up a large cold cut sub sandwich and smuggle it in to get me through...)

I have an appointment with my lung doctor on Monday anyway, he can tell me if I need to get admitted then...

I have bills to pay and I can't afford the downtime....

Oh good, yeah those take awhile to work

I started feeling a little better after I took the second one... So I hope they are helping...

I have some tamiflu, I will try that also... Thanks for the suggestion...

It's Fifty Five Fargo Friday!

Goood morning :D

I hear you Karl. You have to do what is needed.

Thanks Ray...

I'm trying to find the line of how much I can work and how much I need to rest to get over this...

Part of finding the line is crossing over a little to find where the limit is...

If anything, if I can get through to tomorrow morning after my reservation ride, I may be able to fit a visit to the hospital in then... (After the sub shop opens at 9 or 10)... I can get one of my sons to do the airport ride on Thursday night if I am not out by then...

I don't want to go to the hospital if it's just a cold that I can fight off myself...

I have upswings and downswings and that makes it hard to tell what to do...

That's tough what you're battling there and it's been a little while now, hoping those antibiotics do good

Well my netting over all of my fruit trees has collapsed the poles (aluminum) so I'll be taking those out once things warm up, hoping the trees didn't get damaged

In about 3 hours, the moon is going to have more debris parked on it  I think this one is a Toyota probly a version of a Prius
The Teslas were in the news up here, bunch of people at charging stations who couldn't go anywhere because their vehicles wouldn't charge or go so one guy chose to have his towed, PERFECT!!! Tesla said "you must pre-condition your battery before charging in cold weather", but were unavailable for comment to news reporters.

Thats insane!

Good morning everyone. Slept terrible last night. Finally fell back to sleep about 5 am. Luckily I am working from home today. Get better Karl and try to take it easy (or hard if you like it that way. I don’t judge).

Well not sure what I am going to get into today, but grocery and dry cleaning drop off are on the menu. We get a couple of GKs this weekend so making cookies is on! And I have culled out a bunch of old kit to make the boy a battle belt. He loves coming out here and using the radios. His name is Jeremiah so you know what his call Sign is…..Bullfrog 1, I just had to! Hah! Cracks me up every time. His little sister is tadpole. Downside of course is he has already hand cuffed his sister! Grand kids are so much cooler than kids!

Years ago I made the concrete for a new ranch house in a semi remote area east of town. The rancher was goin' ALL SOLAR with it. Had his own solar farm, solar assist on the hot water, storage batteries, the whole bit. One of my redi-mix drivers told me when he returned from the job that the old rancher also had built a sizable structure for his petroleum powered genset for the ranch
