Bought a new all-in-one printer yesterday, waiting for it to arrive. Went with a Brother Black/White laser jet. The current is HP color all-in-one and has sucked for years and the inkjet cartridges are ridiculous. we shall see how the new one is................................
Work shipped me a new printer... it's one of the tank ones. Seems to be doing well on consumption and it doesn't dry out like the cartridge printer I had before
I have an old one from work still as well..............never used it, brand new. Just a small portable one.
A always had good luck with Epson but like all of them, inkjet cartridges and jets do dry out and plug. THey make their money on ink sales. I tried a HP and it was terrible. I bought a Brother color laser and never looked back.

Got just enough unconventional in it to offset the immense size, weight, and push button
We have had HP for years and figured time for a change.............I clean the heads, etc., and still print like garbage.
There is no reason for a color printer either..........cheaper to get photos printed elsewhere.
I learned my lesson from the last one they (work) sent me. I set the new one up on my home network before IT set it up on my work computer. Didn't do that last time and they locked everything down and made the printer worthless. Could only print through a hard cable connection...that sucker went back in the box. This new Epson is nice. I can get to it from all my computers and my phone
My HP had a bad red jet. Every time I wanted to print something I had to clean the jets 2 or 3 times. THat uses a lot of ink. My laser came with colored toner (not a lot of course) but the original toner lasted over a year. The cartridges are a bit spendy but the extra capacity replacements last a long time. THese will probably last a couple years.

Light rain coming down. The dog is sitting out in it and refuses to come in... It's 50 degrees, so I guess she can sit out there for a while. I've got old towels stacked by the door to dry her off when she decides she is soaked through sufficiently
I like the color for some of the diagrams and documents I print up. Yeah, no photos... too cheap to just have pictures printed at the CVS
I used to print a few photos at home but not enough to justify a nice ink jet. The lazer does a nice job with general color but not photo quality. I print a lot of car club stuff like flyers and recipes I download off the internet. It works great for those things. Boy it is fast too.

If you're just using it for when you're late to work or practice, I'm sure that is OK

I missed my holiday haircut this season 
It's "Old Man Ray" backwards, except he put the L and the O in the wrong place....

I did the same a few years ago, and bought an extra cartridge at that time. Still on the first cartridge ...
