Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Good morning everyone. Two nights of NyQuil sleeping and it seems to have subsided. Besides the cough. Hopefully that’s all I needed. I guess lack of sleep can do that. Time for some coffee.
Did that last week. Was off 2 days with sinus crap, hanging out with the Quil brothers. Doc gave me prednisone. Feeling much better, but still snott'n around a week later.

Good Morning

Well SOB...Now they have just gone too far. I don't think they are ready for this kind of fight if they push this. DO NOT mess with people's coffee

WEF Declares War on Coffee: ‘No More Than 2 or 3 Cups Each Per Year’

The World Economic Forum has declared war on coffee drinkers, declaring that they are causing “global boiling” and must be stopped at all costs.
According to World Economic Forum Agenda Contributor Hubert Keller, “The coffee that we all drink emits between 15 and 20 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of coffee… Every time we drink coffee, we are putting CO2 into the atmosphere.”
“Most of the coffee is produced by monoculture, and monoculture is also affected by climate change. The quality of these natural assets is deteriorating rapidly.”
According to the World Economic Forum, coffee drinkers will have to limit themselves to two or three cups of coffee per year in the future.
That being said I am about to ship out some Huehue and Antigua today.

Morning gang.

Glad you're on the upswing Steph.

Rain today, but warm, in the 50s. Supposed to hit mid-60s tomorrow. Crazy
We had some rain yesterday. Good bit of fog. Just enough to do a slow melt of the snow, which is almost gone. Hopefully it dries up some in the next couple days so I can de-poop the yard and get more firewood in. I see some cold nights ahead, but daytime temps are all expected to be well above freezing. Almost time for the groundhog to do his thing...

My buddy has had a Ruger precision on the rack for a solid year. I told him he had it to pricey. The chassis spooks a lot of folks. But I have heard nothing but good things from guys I know that got them. Precision shooting is making a resurgence and the Ruger is a fast way to get in the game very reasonably.
Probably should flip this over to Guns&Dogs... but since I'm here...

I was never really keen on the bolt lugs and extractor on the Ruger M77s. I just spent too much time with a Remington I suppose. I got close on a used Precision, but I wanted something in .308 and I believe it was a 300 WinMag???.

Morning all Steph happy to see your feeling better. No changes here still sunny and 70’s. I‘m officially tired of eating out. The only problem with this place is no kitchen. Oh well we head home Friday night an overnight flight home. It’s warming to the 50’s so the snow should be gone quickly. Get back and get ready for the Chiefs game Sunday.

Don't the coffee trees absorb it?

On this trip I did finish reading The Gettysburg Campaign. It was very detailed and an interesting read. There are a couple chapters I want to re-read with a better battlefield map and list of commanders I found in the back of the book. i’ll have a better understanding when we visit Gettysburg again this summer. We’re thinking of hiring a guide for the day and really see all we want to see and do.

Morning everyone, nice day here. Had 4, 8foot florescent tubes burn out yesterday in the shop. Need to head into town and get some more of them.

That is the best of the books on the Campaign. Cool that you got it read

Did you have a chance to read Crucible yet?

and to build on that - they want a 100% plant based diet for everyone. Eating more plants, for everyone, 100% of the time, across the whole world.... doesn't that upset the balance? Isn't plants what reduces CO2 they are so concerned about? Isn't that backwards? What will happen with all the animals? They specifically say fishing, farming, etc is "ecoside". An attack on the environment. Wait....farming? Where will the plants come from? Logic is not part of their discussions.

Edit: If we were to just eat animals, it would let all the plants grow. Farming would be reduced and no more animal farts.

No it’s next. On FB I follow a couple Gettysburg pages now with more knowledge the pictures and descriptions they post have more meaning.

At times though I had to stop go back and re-read pages because of all the names and information it was like a fire hose read…lots to absorb very detailed but still a great book.

I feel the Chiefs with their playoff record the past few years it will be a slug fest. We might not be the one seed but it’s hard to discount the Chiefs playoff/Super Bowl fourth quarter Mahomes magic show we’ve seen in the past.

He is always entertaining. He controls the ball so well, whether it's a little side arm pitch, or a sidestep to miss a sack. Fun to watch.

I think Baltimore is going to want to punch them in the face with the Defense right out the gate. Problem there is that Mahomes and MaAuto do the "Run to the fire hydrant and get open" better than about anyone. Kelce was WIDE open a LOT up in Buffalo.
