I dont use paint stripper. I play with enough harsh chemicals, and the mess is something i dont want to deal with. Mechanical paint removal is my preferred method.
Flap sander and nylon bristle for like door jambs and trunk hinge areas?
I used these on my car.. removes paint and primer without hurting the metal and they work fast.. one of the best things i found.

Ouch. We try to keep the oil burner off. Burn wood stove when it's cold enough. Are you still using the stove in house. Is that coal?

Have you used this? Wondering if it has any gel to it, or thin liquid. Many moons ago at antique refinishing shop, we used low viscosity stuff pumped through brush similar to a parts washer. Just a bigger brush. Nasty stuff, kinda scary when it splashes.Pricey but it works

So, thankfully Marie is here, but the weather at her house in AZ is about to get western. Currently 46° but winter storm warning. Looks like temps dropping to upper 20's low 30's and up to 27" of wet heavy snow over the next 2 days with wind gusts to 55mph.
When they changed it to eco-friendly I stopped buying it because it was a waist of time and just sand or sandblast the old paint off.
