Hey. Its Friday! Off to a great start. Last night hotel clerk asked if we wanted a wake up call. Nah, i got this. Will set alarm on phone. Go to sleep,toss and turn for about three hours.
1:30. Go for a smoke. Try to sleep. 2:30 still awake. Guess i drift off. 3:45, wake up and check time,a few minutes til alarm kicks off…
Nod off.
4:40. Banging on door. Cmon, we gotta go,sharon got us up. Wtf? No alarm? Was set for 4:01. I like to set alarm a little off,cause i am. Hop in shower,hop out, dry off get dressed and comb hair,oh ya, got no comb, i lost it. Brush then. Grab blow dryer,plug in,GGGRRRR! Yup, no go. Its junk. Remember, supposed to be in airport 2 hours early. And we couldnt print our boarding passes. Glitch or something.
Oh i had just discovered my alarm was set for pm. Who does that???
5:10 get in airport, all the delta westjet agents are busy,backed up is an understatement.
Stood in line 20 minutes to discover we are in wrong line. Yay. Rinse and repeat. Hey if you ar booked on flight bla bla babla the line is here. Third line. Insert profanity here. More waiting.

Get to desk almost an hour waiting in line. I hate standing long time and i need to fart. Our turn with the agent. Kims name on ticket doesent match passport, kim should be kimberlee. 10 plus minutes on phone to get it changed. .
Finally! Boarding passes (problem with online check in other wise we would be sailing through this) into customs. 100 or so people with same problem. Tech,issue. Ya. Nothing new.
Never guess, i have been selected for the full search and check. Profanity 2.
So you need to bla bla bla bla blabbity bla, i caught words like shoes, electronics and phone.
It was a shitshow, almost like all of security were trainees. Swabbing all over,what the hell? K. Done i passed, but damn i felt like a criminal at first.
7:00 at gate waiting. For plane. Ah,there it is. I get paged, go to desk and they hand me a new boarding pass. Told me to dispose of old one. Glad i didnt,it was stamped. By security. Otherwise i dont get on plane. Goddamn shitshow. They paged me to give me a pass that was useless.
10:45 almost there,2nd cup of weak coffee. Hungry and cheesies to snack on…
I needed to write this,mostly to kill time and yes **** happens in a cluster!
Atlanta was a peach,cruised through on a shuttle. Piece of cake.
B757 to Miami. Think i will go with the coffee, which isnt much bigger than a urine sample. At this point i will take it.a little dehydrated methinks. Seats? Bricks with backrests and seat belts. No tiltie either. I think the passenger next to me is watching ****, i wont complain after all,she’s my wife. I hate air travel.

Extra leg room typically means drafty window seat and non reclining seats. One for the other.

It can only get better from there, holy crap!
 
Working 2nd shift, I normally sleep till whenever - no alarm. So not sure how, but most of these early Saturday shifts I wake up before my alarm. Set for 7. Woke at 6.52, with 6 hrs sleep.
 
Morning All.................took my MIL out to dinner for her birthday 83 years old. We went to the same diner where we ate breakfast, it was a good time and the food was great.

Took some pics yesterday of parts and will be a lot more today. Today is loading up the truck.............

Hoppy I have several distributors, not sure about part numbers or brand (mopar, chevy, etc.) I will have to research when I get home.

Family talked me into it, glad they did, its a tall Cadillac for us on trips, very comfortable and trouble free, and he is paid off now. The 5.3 (327 c.i.) has a bunch of power, amazing really for a big 4x4, loves cruising at 80 all day long

Love my Avalanche. Its comfy and runs great.
 
11:00 we are homeless until we board. Wander around the market until its go time. One of our group is under the weather,hoping she perks up soon. Think it was something she ate. Gluten free dinner may not have been so gluten free. Hits her hard.
 
I have the Dart back seat and also a Dart hood, all steel perfect with the Dodge emblem and stainless hood lip molding. It is white so not sure what it came from..................guessing because he had so many different scoops and holes in the previous hood he had this as an extra.
