My front kind of ends just by the firewall insulation. Will get a pic. Mitch still might have his in.
 
Got a pic of before you pulled it? Your build thread pics have to be clicked on and I am to lazy to do it.
 
Here it is just laying in there. Letting it 'relax' in the hot car for a long time after being in the box about 3 years or more. I have it close, but not sure best way to cut the front edge.

Ben has that Dart he just bought - that might still have the original carpet in it. And I imagine Rani has one or two cars that do..

Well, it can never hurt to clean out the fuel system but you might want to check for loose cables and wiggle the connectors. Maybe your ignition switch is getting worn? It is an 80:ies bike after all.

My pics should all be live again, buy the carpet was pretty well destroyed and don't think I had any pics. If I did they were prop on a computer that crashed. Had some other early repair pics I lost.
