what the heck did you do? that first link was to a vid of a woman running into her BF with her car...
it was supposed to be a link to that big fish.......I think i did something screwy when i copied the link.

Thanks guys. Well, all I do is rest. I'll snap out of it tho.

If that guy kept that from her and laughed about it, He had it coming.

what would truly hilarious would be if he was just being a dildo and ISN'T HIV pos... just saying whatever to piss her off while they were breaking up...

Yes that would be a great gag in deed! :D I'm sure he's laughing all the way to the disability bureau (or whatever).

ruhtroh... no...........
well, if you've read my build thread, I found rust under and around the top of the upper control arm mounting points on the drivers side frame rail, GTS built me new ones and I finally got around to welding them or trying to weld them in last night......when i went to wire wheel off the frame rail, the side of the rail, under the undercoating is rusted out too....... meaning a frame swap. Good news is, the right side looks fine......

ouchiewawa.. they's is a big ol' can-o-worms..

boy - that's is a LOT of work - these things ain't like Chevy's.. frames aren't made to be removed.. (well, not easily anyway)

yeah i know but it'll be worth it.... or so I keep telling myself

Just cutting the front horn off, welding the other one on and bracing with a strip of 1/8" isn't THAT much work, is it?

when you put it that way - it doesn't sound too bad. I will say this - it really depends on how bad the "good" car is - but you are cutting up two frames - once you've cut you are committed.. then again, if it's as bad as Chris makes it sound - he's essentially got no choice either..

good car is about as good as one can get frame rail wise,

i dont know how hard it'll be but theres gonna be a butt load of measuring happening before, during and after, with detailed pics. i'll probably bolt in the spare factory K frame I have as well to help ensure it's all as close to perfect as possible. The biggest question is gonna be the removal. I'm gonna have to figure out how to get the 70 on the lift to get under it. no way to put wheels under it. It's sitting on pallets now

I moved one around a few years ago with no engine, no fenders/hood/doors/interior.. I was surprised at how "light" it actually was..

seems to be the norm... Since most leaked. Floors rusted etc. Its pretty much a gotta go ASAP item. I know ripping front part of carpet out was one of the first things I did.
I really think either Ben or Rani will be able to help you out... maybe Dave, though I think his GTS has been redone...

No, I get it, it's not done on a coffee break as we say over here. Inner fenders, radiator support, aligning and all you describe ... Probably a great idea to bolt on the K-frame to get it right.
I'm sure there are threads on this on the site. Or if you start one, I'll bet you'll get tons of (good?) suggestions.
