My dad actually reinforced a closet in our house growing up. That thing was like a safe under the driveway but door in the basement. Ah the good old days!

I readed a article back a few years. I think it was Michigan and firearms themed. Said that if every registered firearm in Michigan had a human being, it would be the third largest military unit in the world

My Dad had his contractors license, built bomb shelters, the underground variety.
That was a big thing in suburbia outside of NYC in the day. Lots of front lawns with hatches on them!

No that was Mass around the Kennedys compound, Just ask Ted! That was a screwed up movie worth the watch for sure.

We lived in the middle of the Mojave Desert. In my teens I had this question. "We're in the middle of the frickin' desert. Why do we need bomb shelters?'" One of my friends answered me. "We're like #4 on the target list on the west coast. Think about it. Marine Corps Supply Depot, Edwards AFB, George AFB, major east-west railroad connection."

Thank god!! should have happened what 13 months ago? We should support our allies not our enemies.. hopefully they level the kremlin with them. What's odd is that people my age and older that grew up in the height of the cold war seem to have forgotten what russia is.... and instead embrace it.. but hey.. no politics in here!

god.. activating windows over the phone is my hell... 60 digits read slowly over the phone and repeated twice... always takes 20 minutes and a customer comes in every time...
And my internet is sloooooooow right now.
Had this given to me. Needs to be unsettled. A little varsol to loosen it up as well. Think the plow will get a little tlc soon..
