Stop in for a cup of coffee

We did a 7 12s summer at the quarry. It was funded by So Cal Edison so our stoopidvisors didn't give a rat's ***. Edison had Diablo Cyn Nuclear Power Plant, just up the beach a little ways. The previous winter was brutal weatherwise. Dreadful windy, huge surf and swells, coastal flooding, you name it. One thing you won't think of, the ocean destroyed the breakwater at that nuke plant. They paid our company well to mine all the granite boulders needed to rebuild it. We got one day off that summer, 4th of July. Only reason we got that was because Edison refused to pay the triple time rates for us to work it  .
My foreman used to work for Edision, somewhere in Cali, not sure where. That's a bit of working for sure!

Wow the internet is slow the last dew days. People need to get back to work or leave the house...

Shop got too cluttered so spent a bit of time yesterday straightening it up. Vowed to spend more time today on the Duster than yesterday which was split between watching Hoosier Garage (guys doing a 72 Duster) and cleaning shop. I really like his Youtube series though, will refer back to it when I patch the floorboard I'm sure.
