Stop in for a cup of coffee

Another Monday. Hoping the next few weeks move quickly.

How’s things in your world?
That's good and about the same here. End of year rush for us, so all hands on deck. Been working 4am to 4pm M-F. OT is good, but doesn't leave much time for anything else. Working on the house and the Charger as I can.

Are you still on target to have the Charger done for Bonneville?

Morning all looks as if the Chiefs yet found another way to win a football game. For those who missed it they kicked a 35-yard field goal with a second left to play. The kick went left hit the left upright and bounced sideways through the uprights for three points and the win.

It was quite a play and a literal nail biter to the last second. Or until that last second was off the clock. Amazing luck on that football hitting the upright and bouncing in.

They've been playing on luck the last couple weeks doing just enough to win.

Yes and no. I decided a while back to wait until 2026, but my racing friends have a compelling argument. It doesn't need to be road legal, just race legal. Decide on one and stick with it. Don't try to do both right away. Getting it out there in 2025, I would get the tech inspection and rookie run done, then truly race in 2026. Not sure $$$ will be there, but can try.

Morning Ray and Craig. I haven't back read to see who else is on this morning. Been busy on the computer though. I thought computers were supposed to save me time? They just create more work.
Steph and I have been here since the wee hours. Good morning

Morning!
Still getting dumped on.
Looking out on camera, bottom step on the front of the house is buried. Today be AWD day for sure.
Time to let dog out.
Plowing snow is on the agenda i guess.
But first, unhook trailer then go diagnose/repair a fried electrical system in an El Camino. Its dead at the body shop.

well, things are finally starting to turn around for me I think.

I have just decided to completely scrap my 318 build and go for a 360 with a "healthy" amount of nitrous. I went and bought a 360 short block today and after talking with the guy for a little bit; he threw in the cam, new cam bearings, pushrods, lifters, and the old timing set. Even though I am not using the timing set and pushrods it was a nice gesture. Its std. bore and is painted with all new freeze plugs installed. $300 all told. What made this a smokin deal was that I asked about a small block 727 sitting there and he took $200 for it. $500 all told and I now have a ready to assemble 360 and good 727.

Nice work on the deal. Sounds like it's going to have a nice noise to it that you can share with the neighbors.

Good to see you roll back through

Good Morning!
