Stop in for a cup of coffee

So all of you need to keep the FABO humor rolling. That’s the good medicine
As always we darn sure will! One thing for sure, nothing is sacred on here in relation to our humor, your wife, your children, your Xs, your health or your mortality. It is all fair game, well except for your Dog. Get well Pete and don’t go stir crazy!

You had a lot of infrastructure investments getting the facilities built.

Tough to get more iterations while maintaining contact hours and quality.
Folks have no idea the amount of input costs it takes to have a first time customer show up and remark, “man this is a very nice facility, I did not even know you were out here” Truck load after truck load of gravel, hours and hours of dirt work, all manner of buried pipe for water drainage, buried electricity, lumber and steel for targets, just an immeasurable amount of stuff folks don’t even “see” . My reward is when a shooter says man this was great when is your next class? I learned a bunch today! I love to Coach. The group of Deputies that have been working with me have dramatically improved their Qual scores. Several are on the edge of perfect scores. I started with just one guy! I keep a very low profile due to all the public opposition to firearms education and training. The bias is real. I rely on results and word of mouth. Many times I offer a free first hour and tell them just pay me whatever it was worth to you. That way I let the training do the talking! They always come back! Hah!

Well thought I was Christmas shopping this morning but turns out my mom called and had to take my dad to the ER this morning. He was up all night with pain below his rib cage. They ran tests and his heart is clear. His white blood count is up so they are running bloodwork to see what’s going on. My mom went home to sleep so I’m on hospital duty.

My boy and I went and cut a Christmas tree. Better late than never. Was nice going out and cutting it ourselves. Hanging out up north by Mom this weekend.

built and installed. Mig welder took a dump-again. Had to stick weld in order to get it done. Not happy. So paint is drying.

Sorry to hear that Steph. Prayers sent.

So, went to my buddy's place and was helping him put his motor together. Everything was going well degreed the cam everything until. we tried to put the intake on. The thing will not set down on the engine, hangs up on the valve cover rails, you can see the lip for the gaskets. These are not miss matched parts, it's the original motor out of the car, but the machine work was done 15 years ago. (resto put on hold to raise his granddaughter). It's a 375 horse 396. all I can think of is the guy that did the head work cut way to muck from the head surface. (shop long gone) He is really down as of last night Looking at trying to find new heads as this is all correct and 67 only parts, I guess. Any ideas out there, this is the first Chevy I have been in to.

In our thoughts Steff.

Wow, they must have cut a ton off those heads to have it so far off. There is a formula for the relationship of how much is cut from the deck surface compared to how much needs to then be cut off of the intake side.

Bummer Steph, hope it all goes as good as it can. You already have great news if they have ruled out a heart problem. Prayers for ya.
