So last night, we drove 2.5 hours to visit my nephew for his birthday party, him and my oldest daughter share a birthday albeit 9 years apart. Anyway, about an hour into it, my wife is complaining more than the 4 month old who was giggling most of the drive.
My kids do great on long car rides, they love it. All 4 of them do. But the moment you get my wife into a car with them for more than 30 minutes, it’s total chaos and complaints. I swear they feed off her roadtrip anxiety
Give her a couple of glasses of wine first.
Unless she is a nasty drunk.

Happy foggy rainy fifty degrees Sunday. Our three day Xmas Deer season is done. Time to clean all my kit and break it all down for maint and inspection. Get it ready to grab and go. Rifle looks like it got drug thru the mud in the rain. O well there was that! I think I am gonna resize a pile of brass today and listen to some music. The one thing I know for sure is I am done hanging out in the rain. I am gonna stay dry today!
Or a sleeping pill.
