Funny you mention that. When I retired, one of the biggest things I looked forward to was not having a radio on my neck every single day. We got no cell service out here, yep Motorola for the win. Still radioed up, arghh…. I am Shop, Jodi is Base. Grandkids love to steal radios and chat it up! Grandson Jeremiah is Bullfrog one, his Sister is Tadpole! They crack me up. His Dad is SWAT so you can imagine his radio skills! Hope big brother is listening! That would give some analyst a loooong day!

The closest one to our valley is 15 miles away.

10 ounces is a pretty light load compared to a BigM brick. I think the Garmin In-reach is like 7 1/2 ounces
