Stop in for a cup of coffee

I imagine the Ramchargers were as well, but there's decent ones out there... unless they've been Farquad with a garbage lift
Well that's mine, I agree with you for sure. I was about to head to Utah when a seller figured out he had underpriced by at least 4k and he ghosted me, that one was bone stock. I'm leaving the add a who knows where it's from leaf in and fixing everything around it. Already had it in for check, then again for 3 degree shims (which required longer Ubolts), now since the wheel isn't straight I'm taking it in in April for a Redhead steering gear box and an adjustable drag-link, another alignment.

No fun fighting it down the road.

That's why I had to go with the F-word while truck shopping. Every Dodge i came across had been so messed with, I wanted nothing to do with them

Got a herd of pilot cars? Do they?
He said he checked and it doesn't require one, that has to be right at the width limit. I am selling it with the castor roll around kit, suggested they use that to get it onto tilt trailer and run it with ramps all the way down for center of gravity obviously. When we built we had a legal height framing truck take out a power line coming in here, I reported it and my power company built up a job package but never put in taller poles for where the line crosses the road. Right now that com cable is tied back to a big fir tree with mule tape, lovely. Potential is there for carnage

I'd have rather bought stock height, my burb used to be WAY up there (for this state anyway), wife hurt her back getting out of it one day, missed the nerf bar. Anyhoo, lowered it after that. As far as the Ramcharger goes, not seeing many good steps to help get in, it's not that high but I'm short and don't like grabbing the steering wheel to pull me in, wife has almost fallen out of it too already.

Any kind of pull down step that'll tuck up under the cab?

Showing the Kubota UTV on Sunday, don't like having so many strangers at the house and while a lot of things are being given away or taken to thrift shops etc., bigger ticket items that I don't want to move are being sold

So far that's the only quality ones I've found and not all of them, very spendy but they don't look that bad. Want to get through tweaking stuff before going there, think the one I saw is between 1-2K

Fun times today with the gas company trying to get my propane tank filled. I had a mailer for a promo code that I wanted to use, but the website said it was invalid... so I had to go to the website.

Hilarious as I'm trying to do math with customer service.

120 gallon tank
Gauge currently at 30%
Refill will only go to 80%

Lady is telling me I need 96 gallons....

Get your pencils out

 I was working a flood control job on the Tijuana River. Couple bridges, lots of rip rap, some paved slopes, concrete low flow channel part of the way. I was running the little Hydro Crane one day. Crane technology wasn't very advanced back then. I sat in the seat for operating the crane and also had controls to drive the truck it was mounted on. Well the rod busters/iron workers had some rebar they needed to move and there was no truck available to do so. I was instructed to pick it up with my crane and walk it to the new location. It was right at the maximum weight for the crane so I had to keep the boom high as possible to keep the weight close to the truck in order to keep steering. I had 3 iron workers watching my overhead clearance just in case. Guess what? They missed a telephone line that crossed above me and the boom pulled it down. Oh well. They were doing the watching.

Happens here a lot, com cables are lowest so snap goes our fiber. Better that than a hot wire I guess

I had a coworker get his brand new Hydro Crane tangled up with a "de-energized" line on another job. Luckily he was able to jump free but the rig was completely fried. :realcrazy:

I pretty much stuck to ripping stuff up out of the ground

Rainier sounds good :D Haven't had one in a long long time.
When I was 15-16 my Uncle took me to the Olympia Brewing Factory, think Hamms and maybe Rainier was brewed there. Anyhoo, they let me go in the tasting room, no questions asked, couldn't believe it. Also got a "Powered by Oly" fiberglass skate board with big fat red wheels for 12.99

We stopped there on vacation one summer during one of my dad's operating engineer contract lapses :D I saw all them ducks and geese floating around in their "spring water" and decided that Oly was not going to be on my list when I came of age
