Growing up on the farm, I was as well. Also probably why I was actually buff and cut in my youth compared to my classmates. What I would give to be able to bake hay in 110 degree heat with my grandparents just one more time.

I spent my youth fishing on my grandfathers boat on the ocean and with my uncle installing house gutters. Also worked with my dad making dune buggy's. Did a lot of fiber glass work back then. and right you are dokeboy I would give anything just for one more time to help my grandfather, uncle or dad.
 
Was cleaning out my 99 Dodge I bought from my grandfathers estate. Been too emotional to go thru his center console and such but I found this picture of all things in the owners manual of the 99. This was taken circa 1988.

I hope my kids will say that about me some day. Starting to realize my mortality more and more.
 
My son is in his 30’s and we still havent sat down and had a beer together. That’s going to change.
 
My father in law always said “Enjoy your kids when they’re young” A snap of the finger and Shazam - I have 13 grandkids

Trying to repair my relationship with my dad but it’s always been a weird one. Used to be close until I turned 18. Got stubborn and stupid and fought all the time
