I was just thinking the same thing - more like frame specs...
yea - 108" WB - Duster or 111" WB Dart/Scamp - I have the 71 Body/Chassis book - if needed (of course mine is at home too)I have a 1975 Factory Body service manual at home I can look tonight. That does give a lot of frame dimensions for collision repair. Possible it may have something. You want Dart right? Should be same as 75 scamp/valiant (I know duster length is diff, not sure what else)
well let me throw this wrench into this...which is weird as heck to me - looking at a Duster you would swear it is a bigger longer car
that's interesting - maybe the Duster is bigger but they simply had to shorten the WB for some reason..well let me throw this wrench into this...
I was talking with Carl Gerst about the 4 link and the gas tank fitment issues, it seems there is 3 inches LESS room between the gas tanks/axle on the Swingers/Dart/Scamps with 8.75s vs the 71 duster he has and the 70 duster I measured that my buddy has..... explain that one.
here's my theory, I think the trunk is larger on the dart/scamps/ etc. I think the vehicle is longer, therefore they moved the wheel base back towards the rear bumper 3 inches, this accounts for the 3 inch differencethat's interesting - maybe the Duster is bigger but they simply had to shorten the WB for some reason..
just looked at the 73 body manual on mymopar.com. Looks like its just point to point on the frame.I was just thinking the same thing - more like frame specs...
