Speaking of borderline necro, I bet Chrissie's still haulin' down all she wants any time she wants to, over there in the land of the Goodyear blimp and the pro football hall of fame. Nice car too, an A-body of a different make and born-on date back in the 1900s -

Good morning Mopar folks. Just thinkin, 56 is what most would consider grandpa-age, my own Grandpa was about that, the earliest I can remember.

TMM, those pics from the lake look awesome! A fun place like that, you jump out of bed to get the fun day started! Man I wish I was going to an old amusement part today, or out on a lake on a jet ski or kayak.

In Sweden, we call that a 'bus driver' mustache.
Wow to think my mustache is now an international sensation, and to think I couldn't even grow one in the 70's, though I did stand in line at Korvettes in Bergen County Mall to buy Patti Smith's second album Wave on the day it came out in 1979. And on top of that I got likes on my picture of two 56-year-olds on a motorcycle, which was taken in 2011, the same year the Swedish Söderberg sisters made ol' stoneface Patti cry at the Polar Music Prize awards. I'm tetched. Inna haid. I'm verklemmpt. I could recite that rap at the end of this song in 1979 through my flimsy Celtic mustache, and I can recite it now. Now Patti Smith's 65 and sick and everybody wants to be seen with her, like they were with Lou Reed, and John Lee Hooker. But who ever bought their albums? I did, even before I could grow a mustache. I wrecked my Mom's '79 Dart in '79.

This totally rocks -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJkbShz3c9Q

some of those images can be years old though...
yes, it says on the upper left corner what the date was.

Had I known where to look 4 years ago I could have spotted them.

They are not there anymore because they are both now my cars, the previous was telling us they were on google maps in front of his old shop and laughed so I looked just for fun and SHO NUFF.

I never got to see the duster peeking there but I am sure it was a 74 that I heard about

I saw this and it begged the question..

It's a model's job to be thin and look great. That is what she gets paid to do and is her purpose in life. Average women are not models and shouldn't need to worry about what models are doing.

So to compare a professional model with an average woman is ludicrous because each one has a completely different purpose. I don't worry about how I look or my weight because I am not a model and don't care to be one.

The average person doesn't weld, yet they never get compared to a welder who does it everyday and gets paid to do it.

I am a mechanic to the core of my heart so I wouldn't compare my mechanical abilities to an average girl who does not share the same purpose in life as myself because that is crazy just as it would be to compare to a model.

just my soap box I guess.

Just seems like everybody is so damned worried about looking like a supermodel.

Very true. I'm an ***! And it's not fair to compare non-*** people to me...
