If computers can be programmed to read our thoughts, do you think they'd bother?
Nice! Wish I had the room for that!If the weather cooperates this weekend, i can get started. I got the homade rotisserie out of storage. Seems a good time to test it out..
That is a good question. If you have access to a lift then I would. I know from my experience that welding them in on my back SUCKED!Here's a question. Should i weld in some frame connecters before putting the body on the rotisserie?
I've got space at work where i can pull it off (time frame limited). I've seen where guys use some 2X3 square tube and make connecters.. is that sufficient for a mild driver? That is a good question. Perfect!Like a herd of turtles....
I can get tbe steel for free. . I just don't wanna do anything completely ignorant..Not sure, but anything would be an improvement over nothing....
Read several of them. I suppose if i support by suspension points with weight to mimic engine/trans, should be fairly straight to weld in connecters.. i hope this flies. There are quite a few threads and ideas on this subject.

As long as the doors open and close before and after! That's my take on it! I'll find out how well they work the first time I open the throttle on the 440!Read several of them. I can get any thickness i need. I'm guessing 1/8 inch.. ballpark?

Sounds about right.I can get any thickness i need. I'm guessing 1/8 inch.. ballpark?
I wouldn't. I would wait until after you get it all together with full body weight before doing that. Otherwise, you may have the body welded in a configuration that puts stress on the connector welds later from just the normal weight of all the parts. Here's a question. Should i weld in some frame connecters before putting the body on the rotisserie?
