Stop in for a cup of coffee

If the weather cooperates this weekend, i can get started. I got the homade rotisserie out of storage. Seems a good time to test it out..

That is a good question. If you have access to a lift then I would. I know from my experience that welding them in on my back SUCKED!
I've got space at work where i can pull it off (time frame limited). I've seen where guys use some 2X3 square tube and make connecters.. is that sufficient for a mild driver?

Not sure, but anything would be an improvement over nothing....

Read several of them. I suppose if i support by suspension points with weight to mimic engine/trans, should be fairly straight to weld in connecters.. i hope this flies.
As long as the doors open and close before and after! That's my take on it! I'll find out how well they work the first time I open the throttle on the 440!

Here's a question. Should i weld in some frame connecters before putting the body on the rotisserie?
I wouldn't. I would wait until after you get it all together with full body weight before doing that. Otherwise, you may have the body welded in a configuration that puts stress on the connector welds later from just the normal weight of all the parts.

The blank body won't be warped on the rotisserie.

Whoa! The wind just kicked up and the temp dropped from 84° to 73° in about 15 mins. Now it's raining moderately too. No lightning or thunder.

Weird.

It's been raining heavily for the past 20 mins and still no thunder or lightning. We need the rain so I'm not complaining, but damn...it was nearly 90° an hour and a half ago and it's 72° now and raining buckets.

I would have expected that to create one helluva light and boomer show.

How long a minute is depends on what side of the bathroom door you're on.
